I have a "Master of Music" in violin at the Saar University of Music with Prof. Joshua Epstein and I am currently studying in the master's program in chamber music with Krzysztof Chorlezski, violist of the Belcea Quartet, and Mario Blaumer, cello director of the Saarland Radio Orchestra. I'm also doing an internship in the Philharmonic State Orchestra Mainz, but I spend most of my time in Saarbrücken. I also completed a two-year course in osteopathy, studied two years of a bachelor's degree in education and a course in neuroanatomy. When teaching violin, I am particularly interested in how the brain works and its relationship to the body and concentration, as well as working with emotions, which can be applied to both music and life. I teach violin privately and at two schools in Germany. I have played in orchestras in Germany and Spain, for example the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie or the orchestra of the Comunitat Valenciana (Opera in Valencia), and in concert halls such as the Elbphilarmonie or the Berlin Philharmonie. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. I found Dr. Ralf to be a wonderful Teacher. The things that he taught me through online helped me a great deal in this class as well as in statistic level. Because of the help and attention that He provided me with, I understand and enjoy Statistics. The class was great in that he didn’t just give the answers away – he made me THINK. This was sort of frustrating, but it helped me understand the material much better. I would recommend him as a Teacher for future classes, without a doubt.
