Hello! I'm Lulu, a bilingual English teacher with six years of experience. I teach English using a flexible methodology so that the language can be learned, or improved, naturally. My goal as a teacher is for students to learn to master the language in an authentic way. -I don't do exam preparation.- Classes revolve around interactive activities and spontaneous, in-depth conversations (to the extent each student allows). Communicating across languages is key to cognitive development and goes far beyond memorizing words: it's an opportunity to discover our own identity from a different perspective. To begin, I always do a couple of tests that help me profile the student from various areas, not just the level, and with that, I work with the individual to develop the class strategy, from frequency to method. I have worked with students of all ages, with diverse learning styles and unique needs, and while they often fit within certain parameters that correspond to pre-established teaching methodologies, each one is unique and deserves a personalized approach that respects their own pace. Therefore, the course format will depend on the objective, the level of each student, and, above all, their interests, as these will serve as a basis for guiding the learning process. My primary objective is to help students improve their level, deepen their knowledge, assimilate their lessons, fill their gaps and improve their skills in the discipline of mathematics. In addition, I am perfectly able to support them in the preparation of their exams and competitions for access to the Grandes Ecoles, and to provide them with homework help so that they can succeed in this subject. I was thinking, that learning Chinese is extremely difficult, however, thanks to Shan,  this language becomes more and more clear for me. Every lesson is very productive and I feel, that I progress fast! Today, there are numerous teachers, who can teach you Chinese. However, only a few of them can make the educational process so interesting and enjoyable. Luckily for me, Shan is one of them and I am very happy, that I found her. Shan is very precise and corrects every my mistake. She can easily explain how to properly pronounce words with different tones, how to write syllables, the grammar and many more. I like, that with her, I am not just memorising Chinese language, but I do really understand it. Overall, without a doubt, I can say, that Shan is a great teacher! 心💕
