Man Ting enjoys playing music and working with others. She has participated in different ensembles and venues; in 2016, performed for the “Australiana” in the Melbourne Recital Centre and the Monash Piano Series Concert and in the same year got invited to perform for Duneira Concert and Monash University Open Day; in 2017, performed for the “Chopin and Liszt” and “Sounds Without End” which held in Collins St Baptist Church of Melbourne. During her college life, Man Ting has participated in the Monash Wind Symphony for 2 years as percussion and piano accompaniment; has been continuously awarded for the “Bernis Music Classical Piano Award” in 2016 and 2017. Man Ting is an experienced teacher for all ages students and familiar to help student with AMEB and ABRSM grade exam. Also, as an interpreter of the ABRSM, this position allows her to help and train the exam setting with student more efficiently. Through her international career life, her experience allows her to communicate and be flexible with different students and parents from different countries and cultures. More about me: Born in 1998, Virginia started learning violin at the age of 3, under the tutelage of under Ms Beedarn Chao and Ms Rosa Lam. In 2013, she attained DipABRSM in violin performance and Grade 8 piano one year later. In 2018, Virginia graduated from King’s College London with a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours), under the sponsorship of the “King’s Hong Kong Scholarships” At KCL, she studied violin with tutors from the Royal Academy of Music - Mr. Nicolas Dupont and Ms Georgia Hannant. She also studied composition with Professor Silvina Milstein, Robert Keeley and Dr. Edward Nesbit. Her works have been performed by UK professional musicians and ensembles such as Clare McCaldin and Lontano Ensemble. Since university, Virginia has been actively teaching primary to form 6 students at King’s St George’s Music Academy (London) and Sevenoaks School, one of the top 5 UK boarding schools. I am a graduate, graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in the USA. Having learned English as a child at the Ivy Thomas Memorial School in Uruguay, and lived a year and a half in Thailand, followed by 4 years in the USA I acquired great knowledge and fluency in the English language. In Thailand I spent a year and a half studying communication arts, which helped me, prepare for my studies in the US. I had several communication classes, learning techniques of how to speak better using not only our words but also our body to help us speak more naturally, calmly, and without getting nervous if we get stuck or forget what we wanted to say. During my career in the US, I was constantly writing essays for my classes, in addition to having to present projects in front of my teachers and classmates. At the same time, I was working at university and after graduation I worked for a year, mainly having long phone conversations with people from all over the country.
