Hey there! If you’re struggling with A-Level or GCSE Biology or Chemistry or just want a bit of extra help to smash your exams, this tutoring is perfect for you. Here’s what you can expect: 1. Nail the Basics (and the Tricky Stuff): We’ll go through all the big topics like cells, genetics, and organic chemistry, plus those harder ones like biochemistry and gene technology. Don’t worry if it feels overwhelming—I’ll break it down into simple steps that actually make sense. 2. Ace Your Exams: I’ll show you how to tackle exam questions, structure your answers properly (especially the dreaded essay question for AQA Biologists and NMR for chemists), and even give you tips on impressing the examiners. We’ll use past papers, so you know exactly what to expect and how to approach it. 3. Interactive and Fun (Promise!): It’s not just me talking at you—there’ll be diagrams, and examples that link biology and chemistry to real life (it’s way cooler than you think). Plus, you can ask questions anytime, and we’ll work through stuff together. 4. Personalised Help: Everyone learns differently, so I’ll tailor the sessions to suit what you need—whether it’s going over tricky concepts, improving your essay writing, or just boosting your confidence. Who’s This For?* If you’re an A-Level or GCSE student doing Biology or Chemistry and want to improve your grades (or just not feel lost in class), this is for you! It doesn’t matter which exam board you’re with—I can help with all of them. **Why Me?** I’ve been where you are, so I get how tough A-Level Biology and Chemistry can be. My goal is to make it less stressful and help you actually enjoy learning (yes, even photosynthesis). Let’s work together to make biology and chemistry your best subjects! 😊

Hello, I’m Laura, and I absolutely love teaching singing. There’s something very special about helping students discover and develop their voice, whether they’re singing for the first time or working towards refining their technique. Watching someone grow in confidence and truly enjoy their singing is what makes teaching so rewarding. I have a Master’s degree in Songwriting from Bath Spa University and vocal training with BAST, giving me a strong foundation in both performance and technique. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing at festivals such as Shambala, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown, and Cheltenham Jazz Festival, as well as supporting big names from the underground music scene across the UK. Through these experiences, I’ve seen first-hand how powerful singing can be, not just as a skill but as a way of expressing something deep and personal. My goal is to help students connect with their voice in a way that feels natural, expressive, and fulfilling. As a qualified and experienced yoga facilitator, I may incorporate breathing exercises and yoga techniques into sessions where needed. These can be particularly helpful in releasing tension, improving mindset, and opening up the voice, allowing students to sing with greater ease and confidence. How I Teach I tailor every lesson to suit the individual. Whether you want to focus solely on singing, songwriting, or a mix of both, we’ll create a session that works for you. My approach is supportive and relaxed, helping students of all levels build confidence and skill in a way that feels enjoyable. • Singing lessons focus on technique, tone, performance, and breathing exercises to help reduce tension and improve vocal control. • Songwriting sessions guide you through developing ideas, refining lyrics, and bringing songs to life. • Basic guitar tuition is also available for those who want to accompany themselves while singing or songwriting.
