Who am I? Originally from Val-de-Travers, I finished my bachelor's degree in tourism in Sierre in Valais, my native language is French, but I studied in English since high school (at the age of 15). I love languages, I love practicing them and I love passing them on because they are so important for your future (travel, careers, meetings, etc.). When I was younger, I was already giving English tutoring to my best friend. I loved these moments of learning but especially of sharing which greatly helped my friend and first student. As a teacher, I want to provide support and motivation. I want to make you want to practice and improve languages, to pass on my passion to you! I have just returned from a fabulous year in London, it has only strengthened my love for the language and culture and improved my level! If you choose my English classes, this is how it will go... -First of all, due to my level (B2-C1), my courses are mainly aimed at beginners (secondary school students, high school students, all ages but beginners, etc.). -The goal of my lessons is to adapt to the needs of each person (grammar review, vocabulary, discussion to practice oral skills, preparation for a test, etc.) The first step is to get in touch and discuss YOUR needs! - Classes will be held online mainly unless we live close enough! According to your needs transmitted earlier, I will prepare the documents/supports/exercises necessary to train you! They will be entirely in English in order to dedicate every second to learning!

In this lesson, you'll learn how to play chords beyond the basics, transition between songs, choosing the right key, applying the right accompaniment pattern, playing without music notations, etc. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Lessons include: 1. Active Aural Training This is not the usual "classical exam format" aural exercises but practical aural techniques I've learned from my years of stage performance. 2. Chords You will learn how to pick the right chords that harmonizes the melody and how to use them effectively. 3. Contemporary Accompaniment styles This includes my bread-and-butter accompaniment styles I use in playing solo piano accompaniment or keyboard in the worship band, and the knowledge I've accumulated over the past 18 years playing in church. 4. Arranging Techniques and Music Theory Music theory and Rhythmic studies provide all the tools you need to create the right accompaniment for any song, any mood, and any occasion.
