Trusted teacher: Hi there! My name is Darius , I am from Germany and I am studying my Master's at the Rythmic Music Conservatory in "Music Performance". I've been playing the piano since the age of 5 years and I started teaching when I was 14 years old. I have experience teaching all levels, including young childres (>6) and adults of all age - teaching privately and in music schools ever since. I can offer basic to intermediate teaching in classical related and pop related piano / keyboards. Having a jazz background myself I can offer jazz lessons from basic to expert which might include preparing for auditions. I am very open to the interests of my students, but my only requirement is to take some time for people call "practising" - or just making yourself a nice time with music :) I also offer other music related teaching in music theory, "ear training", production etc. on all levels. I believe that we should do stuff that you're interested in. Maybe you'd like to learn this beautiful classical piano piece? Or you would like to play jazz piano? Or you'd like to accompany yourself on the piano? Anything is possible :) I also believe that lessons should not be work that you need to do or be good at... For me it's all about fun, creativity, imagination, and taking a break, relaxing, expressing, listening, experiencing, getting more sensitive.. enjoying music both listening to it and playing it yourself :) If you're interested, you can listen to my music in my hiphop/jazz band "Bokoya"! Lessons would take place at Rythmic Music Conservatory in Holmen (Bus 2A from Christianshavn) or (within a reach of 1052) in your home. Timing is pretty flexible. Let's meet each other :) Looking forward to hearing from you!

Trusted teacher: Hello, I can give you guidance in career planning in STEM-related fields - but only research/academia paths and not industrial sectors. Besides that, I can also help students improve their presentation skills in cases of their bachelor/master/PhD thesis or any other presentations that you might have to give for any of your courses and interviews for PhD positions. Presentation skills - It is very important and beneficial to give very good talks when you are presenting your research work in some course or your thesis during your bachelor/master/PhD. I will help you in giving good constructive feedback about your presentation and especially the chronology in which the items should be presented. During the course of my studies, I have written several reports and deliverables wherein I was required to write highly scientific content in short and easy-to-follow sentences. This is an art that one never stops learning. Hence, I am no master or expert in these things, but I surely have a good amount of experience which I can share with you. Career counselling - I am currently in the last year of my PhD studies in physics, based in Hamburg, Germany. I have studied in various places and hence know the importance of communication, networking, and choosing the right groups for one's career development. I have studied in India, Portugal, Russia, the Netherlands and Germany. I have been involved in many research projects up to now ranging from chemistry, biophysics to pure and applied physics. I can help you in tailoring your resume/CV for the positions you apply for and can also help you write your cover letter/statement of purpose.

Aleksandra - CopenhagenC$146
Trusted teacher: Aleksandra is a trained singer, singing teacher and choir conductor from the Academy of Music in Gdansk and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona. She took to the stage in her childhood and has been teaching music for the last 6 years. For several years she was a chorister of the prestigious Polish National Youth Choir and leader of Vocal Quintet Solifonia. Currently, she is a choir conductor and the founder of CHOIR CLUB in Korskolen. What can you expect from her teaching? She believes that singing can be passion, a communication tool, a means of therapy and so much more: more than you can imagine! In her classes, you will learn key vocal techniques as well as learning to understand your voice. You will discover the deeper meanings of the songs you sing as you seek to express them to the world. As she is working towards becoming an Accredited Teacher of IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix) she focuses on delivering teaching based on the Mix principles: by mixing the chest and head voice you receive the full benefits of “both voices”: the natural and powerful sound of the chest voice, and the beauty and range of the head voice. As a singer learns to sing using both of these resonances and trains the vocal folds to stay together, it is possible to vocalize smoothly and evenly from one register to the next. The relationship of the two elements working together will create an even, smooth vocalization and, as a result, eliminates the “breaks” in the voice. She has a good knowledge of playing the piano, so you can sing along to her accompaniment or accompany yourself under her supervision. What does the first lesson include? You’ll talk about: - your background and musical experience - all the circumstances that can influence your sound production - your needs, expectations and plans You also find out: - what your bad habits are - how you can start your singing technique - what kind of exercises will help you best achieve your singing goals Who is welcome? - Children (8+), adolescents and adults - Singers of all kinds of popular music - Students who want to learn hearing / rhythm theory - Individuals, groups and families
