Wai Sze - AntwerpC$60
Trusted teacher: Hi! I'm Wai Sze. I’m from Hong Kong, and my mother tongues are Cantonese and Mandarin. I have experience teaching Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) as a second language as well as other school subjects taught in Chinese to non-native speakers in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Belgium. I have worked with learners of all backgrounds—from complete beginners to fluent speakers of one Chinese language who want to learn another, including university students majoring in Chinese. My Teaching Philosophy I believe that learning a language should be engaging, immersive, and enjoyable! In my classes, you won’t just learn the language—you’ll also gain a deeper understanding of Chinese, Taiwanese, and Hong Kong culture, traditions, and customs. How We Can Learn Together: This course is 100% personalized to match your learning style and goals. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced learner, I will create custom learning materials tailored just for you—no generic textbooks! ✔️ Speaking & Listening: Learn natural conversations for everyday use. ✔️ Reading & (Optional) Writing: You’ll be gradually introduced to Chinese characters without feeling overwhelmed. ✔️ Cultural Learning: Explore traditions, festivals, and real-life Chinese customs. Looking for a fun and practical way to learn Chinese? Here are some unique learning experiences I offer: - Real-life Learning: We can visit a Chinese supermarket together to learn food names, cultural insights, and even how to cook Chinese dishes! - Speaking Practice: My lessons are highly interactive—you’ll be speaking a lot and asking plenty of questions! 🎯 Who is this course for? ✅ Complete beginners with no prior Chinese experience. ✅ Students who want a fully customized learning experience. ✅ Anyone curious about different Chinese culture, traditions, and daily life ✅ Learners who aren’t sure whether to start with Mandarin or Cantonese—you can explore both! Why Learn with Me? Chinese isn’t as difficult as you might think—with the right approach, it can be both fun and rewarding! Join me, and let’s make learning Chinese an exciting journey.

Manon - AntwerpC$74
Trusted teacher: Hi! Have you always wanted to learn to sing? Is your voice getting tired after singing (alone or in a choir)? Do you want to be better at singing? Are you curious about what your voice can do? Do you sing in a choir and need extra help putting together the material in between rehearsals? I love passing on the knowledge of my craft. The mechanics of the voice is such a small and intricate thing, and knowing what goes inside our throat and body is a very special experience. I get excited and moved every time a student achieves a new skill, and takes another step towards a deeper understanding of their voice. On top of my experience as a singer and a teacher, I have a degree in linguistics. That allows me to know exactly what has to be done inside your throat and mouth in order to produce a specific sound. I can therefore adapt to each student: if they have an analytic mind, I can explain what goes on inside and what should be done to improve that. If they have an instinctive mind, I can help with metaphor in order to help the phonation. Or both! My method is multi-faceted because each voice is unique, and it is my job to adapt, and not the contrary. How does a lesson work? The first time we meet, we will talk about your journey in the music world. What have you done yet music wise, what artists and genres inspire you, what are your goals. Then we will do what we do in every regular lesson: I will direct you during some warming-up exercises, that include vocal technique work (if you have already warmed up, we just do a few exercises about technique), and then we will work on whatever you want. I ask my students to always come with at least one piece of music they want to work on (or maybe two, depends on the time we have on hands). See you soon! Manon (she/her)

Piano lessons for acquiring and/or improving piano skills (Antwerp)
Stefan
I have my own piano studio for children & adults who like to be involved with music. Stefan's lessons are a great professional support for me: for my own study, to bring my piano technique up to speed & to sharpen my understanding of music. He is an excellent and passionate pianist himself and that works inspiring. Stefan has insight into how someone can learn new things, and a very good approach to teach you a good piano technique in a relaxed way. You come to yourself, in your body, in the music and this opens new doors for a very personal experience with music. For me this is the ideal input at the right moment. If you want to work with piano semi-professionally or professionally, this coaching is highly recommended!

Flute ONLINE for everyone. Children to Adults. (English, Russian) (Ghent)
Anna
I might not know much about flute, but what I know is that if you want to learn it, Anna's your gal. She's fun, smart, punctual and really professional and, to top it off, a really good teacher. She is going to make you feel appraised for your smallest accomplishments (which will definitely help you evolve much faster than using any conventional book/online course etc.) and will find the sweet spot between theoretical concepts and fun, practical songs to keep you entertained. I myself had an internal kerfuffle and nearly quit after 2 weeks of trying to learn flute. But flute can be fun and entertaining, and Anna's teaching method is the proof to that lemma!

Japanese lesson by native Japanese speaker (EN / NL) (Lier)
Azuki
Very friendly and patient teacher. She explains very well and also tells about Japanese culture. During the lesson we write everything down together so that you can always look back at the things you have learnt. She also does a great job at using material from previous lessons so you don't forget and also get a good feeling of progression. The lessons also have a lot of variety and are very interactive. Most important of all though is that the lessons themselves are very fun! Definitely recommend!
