In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. Very clear as to what his teaching methods and goals are, how he'll help you get there - then jumps right in and gets you started with no fuss. I found myself speaking sentences in Wolof by the end of the lesson, and really appreciate the additional written material he supplied as well. As someone who has taught and learned various other languages I can tell that Dembane has a really sound methodology. I'll add to this review in a few months time, but so far I am impressed. Also glad that he is pointing out regional differences between Senegal and Gambia usage to me, as it's relevant to my learning needs. He does personalise the content for the individual student, which is good to see.

Mouad
Mouad is a fantastic teacher. He has a very professional approach to what he is doing. He knows how to work with younger students. He can quickly position student's knowledge and has the flexibility to follow the required curriculum. He also knows how to build the confidence of the student himself what is extremely important in case of students who had bad experience with the subject in the past. Mouad communicates fluently in French and English. He is always on time and well prepared for classes. He also gives feedback after the lessons. We will definately continue classes with him. My son is making good progress in Mathematics while working with Mouad.
