Privacy Policy

Collected Data
Personal identifiable information is data that allows you to be identified as a particular person, such as your name, phone number, or your address. We do our best to protect your privacy at Apprentus. We do collect personal information when a teacher or a student signs up to Apprentus website. Some of this data may include;
Your full name, phone number, email address, physical address including postcode and town of residence, interests, qualifications etc.
From our server logs we are able to view any individual’s IP addresses and may be able to lookup which ISP is supplying that IP address. From these logs we are able to see the date and time at which you viewed the site plus the pages visited, and other standard information including which browser and operating system you were using.
Please note that we are not able to collect any personally identifiable information from these logs data. The data is used by us but may be passed on to any 3rd parties (including but not limited to, your ISP or law enforcement agents) particularly if we receive abuse from a particular user.

Profiles and class pages
Your profile will not contain personally identifiable by default, we do not display your surname by default or any contact information such as your phone number or email address. The information it contains is customisable by members in the Profile and Account pages.

Teacher Profile Video
To ensure that our students have access to the teacher profile videos regardless of their location, Apprentus will publish the teacher videos on our YouTube channel. The teachers profile videos will be publish on YouTube with the use of YouTube API Services in accordance with the YouTube Terms of Services and Google Privacy Policy.
Apprentus will remove a teacher profile video published on our YouTube official channel upon a delete request submitted on the teacher Profile page on Apprentus website.

Facebook
If you used Facebook to register with Apprentus, your Facebook account is linked to Apprentus. Your profile information will be shared with us and saved to your Apprentus account.
The data we collect, if you have published it in your profile, is your e-mail address, your photo, your name and your first name. Apprentus uses this data when connecting our users.
This data is shared between two users only after a contact request has been accepted between them.
You can request the deletion of your personal data at any time on the page https://www.apprentus.ca/profile/account or by writing to us at [email protected]. To enable or disable Apprentus app permissions, follow the steps on this page: https://www.facebook.com/help/170585223002660

Cookies
We use cookies to store your current session. We currently do not use cookies for any advertising services.

External Sites
Within some of the pages on Apprentus we may link to external websites, that is, websites that are not part of Apprentus (third-party websites). Apprentus are not responsible for the content of these external internet sites. We are careful who we link to, but since the sites are out of our control they could contain unsuitable content and may have privacy policies which differ from Apprentus. Please review their policies if you are concerned. All pages at Apprentus contain familiar logo and menu system, if the site does not contain this layout you have most likely followed a link to an external website.

Email Addresses
Any Email address the user supplies when signing up, are not, and will never be given or sold to 3rd parties for marketing purposes. This includes any personal information we may obtain from emails we receive.
