Since I am a good listener, dialogue and trust are essential points for me. I like to vary the types of documents and work on several skills simultaneously in order to make it motivating. Miguel, is a very friendly and flexible teacher. The advantage of one-on-one lessons is that you can move to topics you really want to, or need to address, quite naturally. Miguel does this very well and adapts to your needs, often in quite an innovative manner. We use the standard Portuguese text book as a basis, but have a lot of fun doing different things around that: whether it is specific grammatical points, pronunciation, or structured conversation.
