With more than 200 students through all my life, more than 500 shows (mostly in Spain but also around Europe and a couple of minitours in America), 15 CD’s/EP/singles published (as a frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor in jazz-modern music guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in piano jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional music career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I’ve come from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the latin master at Codarts. I’ve been working as a music teacher for around 12 years (I’m 29 years old), both doing private lessons and in different music schools, being the most important one the “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the biggest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was the Head of the Modern Music Department. I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, musical production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare themselves for the music bachelor. I can adapt totally to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, since I have a lot of experience, I have the lessons well planned, I know which songs and exercises work better depending on the aspect that we want to work (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone playing I can see in which aspects is the person strong, and in which aspects has the person more problems, so that way you won’t waste your time! Also I’m a fun and very empathic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!! I speak 5 languages 100% fluently: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French and English, so we can do the classes in one of these languages, and I’m working on my Dutch, I have an intermediate level and I think I could do lessons in it, but probably I would have to switch to English if the topic is a little difficult, I hope that changes in a few weeks/months, I’m studying every day! The lessons can take place in my home (Maashaven metro station) where I have a nice setup, online or in your home. -Nederlands- Lessen in 6 talen! Met meer dan 200 studenten in mijn hele leven, meer dan 500 shows (voornamelijk in Spanje maar ook in heel Europa en een paar minitours in Amerika), 15 CD's/EP/singles gepubliceerd (als frontman, sideman en producer), een bachelor in jazz-moderne gitaar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in pianojazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) en een lange professionele muziekcarrière waarin ik verschillende stijlen speel (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz , folk, rumba, reggae...), ben ik van Barcelona naar Rotterdam gekomen om mijn muzikale reis voort te zetten door de latin master bij Codarts te doen. Ik werk al ongeveer 12 jaar als muziekleraar (ik ben 29), zowel privélessen als op verschillende muziekscholen, waarvan de belangrijkste de “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona) is. Het is een van de grootste muziekscholen in Spanje (met meer dan 900 studenten), waar ik hoofd van de Moderne Muziek afdeling was. Ik geef les in gitaar (elektrisch en klassiek), piano (elektrisch en klassiek), compositie, muziekproductie (met Logic Pro), ensemble en moderne muziektheorie OP ALLE NIVEAUS, van 100% beginners tot mensen die willen de muziek bachelor doen. Ik kan me helemaal aanpassen aan wat de student wil en zoekt, maar omdat ik veel ervaring heb, heb ik de lessen ook goed gepland, en ik weet welke liedjes en oefeningen beter werken, afhankelijk van het aspect waarmee we willen werken ( tempo, akkoorden, toonladders, feeling, improvisatie...). Als ik iemand zie spelen, kan ik zien in welke aspecten de persoon sterk is, en in welke aspecten de persoon meer problemen heeft, zodat je geen tijd verspilt! Ik ben ook een leuk en zeer empathisch persoon, dus we zullen plezier hebben, en dat is het allerbelangrijkste!! Ik spreek 5 talen 100% vloeiend: Catalaans, Spaans, Portugees, Frans en Engels, dus we kunnen de lessen in een van deze talen doen, en ik werk aan mijn Nederlands, ik heb een gemiddeld niveau. Ik denk dat ik kan lessen geven in het Nederlands, maar waarschijnlijk zou ik moeten overstappen naar Engels als het onderwerp een beetje moeilijk is, ik hoop dat dat over een paar weken/maanden verandert, ik studeer elke dag! De lessen kunnen plaatsvinden bij mij thuis (metrostation Maashaven) waar ik een mooie setup heb, online of bij jou thuis.

Trusted teacher: Hana is Korean-New Zealander who is devoted and passionate about music as music teacher, performer, and accompanist. She has solid years of piano teaching experiences in NZ. Currently she's been in Germany since 2019. After settling down in the capital City in NZ, Wellington she has been focusing on her musical studies and degree at New Zealand School of Music in Victoria University, as well as developing her teaching skills privately and at school. Her major is Classical Music in Piano Performance. After the graduation in 2017, she devoted her fulltime in Piano teaching until today. Currently she's been in Germany since 2019 and teaching a variety of age, level of German students at her Mittenwald Piano Studio. She is happy to offering her musical teaching both "in person" lessons and online lessons. With her, you can learn not just skill of playing the piano, but also learn how to enjoy your music through the piano. She loves communicate with people, listen very well on their difficulties and hardship during lessons and try to give thoughtful suggestion to encourage the student learning path. She has experienced with students from beginner to advanced level, and also from the age 5 to adult. Also she met lots of students from a variety of countries in New Zealand, like from India, Taiwan, France, German, etc. She approached lessons for individual, depending on the student musicality, capacity and their personality. She is more feeling comfortable with English but also she is willing to give her lessons in in German if you give a generous of her German😊

Reconnecting with Pau as a guitar teacher has been as good as I remembered. He's a a great instructor in all the aspects: he's patient and when something is difficult for me he always finds and alternative that is complementary and it really helps me. He knows a lot about music and different genres but if you want to play something he doesn't master, he'd look into it and make it easy for you to enjoy it. The way he plays is so good he's an inspiration and it makes you want to be better. Always my number 1 option guitar teacher!

Catalina
Catalina is a wonderful teacher! I have just started to play the viola and I am very happy to have found Catalina as my teacher! Catalina is experienced, professional, motivated, creative and patient. She easily adapts to the student's level and tailors each lesson to the student's individual needs. Her teaching approach is original, creative and effective and it is apparent that Catalina enjoys teaching and sharing her knowledge. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for viola lessons.

I have had 5 very helpful lessons with a relaxed atmosphere so far. Federica has directly spotted my weaknesses and has helped me to make my practice time more effective and goal-oriented instead of simply playing what I had learned at some point. I have definitely become more aware of things that I can improve and learned how to make progress more quickly. So far, we have combined different exercises on technique with music theory and also worked on my repertoire a little bit.
