Hello! My name is Egor, and I am a pianist, composer and music producer. My main activities are teaching piano, composing music and performing at various concerts. Also, I produce music (from the original idea: lyrics, harmonies, etc. to sound-design and distribution). I have bachelor’s and master’s degrees by the program of performing on the piano in the music theatres as an academic pianist and an artist. I am a winner of regional and international music competitions. In my classes I teach not only beginners but intermediate and advanced piano players. Even though you are not looking for a professional piano career, learning music is the great possibility to improve your various kinds of skills. You will become more confident in communicating with people, you will be able to meet new people who’s also obsessed with music and art, and furthermore you will be able to create your own pieces and songs. In teaching I combine classical and modern approaches in order to accomplish our mutual goals with a student. It includes the dialectical method of teaching by the very honourable piano teacher and pianist Heinrich Neuhaus. Also, in my lessons I connect teaching piano with psychology so that we are able to achieve the best result. My fortune was to discover the piano because I was the type of a person who always thought that the music world is closed for regular people. And that was the point that I hadn’t taken piano lessons when I used to be a child before I started it only in my 20's. Now, I am a professional pianist, teacher and composer who has won regional and international musical contests. These days I teach many students all over the world from Los Angeles to Warsaw. Also, I released a couple of piano and electronic albums. I have a systemised course of studying music that includes following themes: 1. Elementary Theory of Music; 2. Classic and jazz harmony; 3. Creating an accompaniment for your favourite songs; 4. Embodiment of an artistic image; 5. Basic performing skills. I can help to make your dream of playing piano come true. I will be waiting for everyone who has a passion for music and piano!

Hey there! I'm Paulina. I hold Master's Degree in Music Education and Qualified Teacher Status obtained in England. I studied piano performance, piano improvisation, composition and music theory. I have over 10 years of experience as a piano and music teacher in different settings, including public and private music schools, ballet schools, pre-schools, primary and secondary public schools and private tutoring. I also taught band, improvisation and musical theater after school classes. I worked in several different countries including Poland, United Kingdom, Caribbean Islands, Vietnam, Thailand and online, teaching students from around the world. I am an active performer playing piano and accordion, and singing; performing solo, in duets and in bands. I constantly continue to develop my knowledge and teaching skills by attending masterclasses and courses. I use a variety of methods, adjusting my approach for each student individually. I have students playing for fun, preparing for ABRSM exams, returning to playing or starting from zero, so no matter what's your story you can count on my full support and flexible approach. Please contact me so I can explain in details what I can offer and what would be the most effective method for you or your child. A LITTLE BITMORE ABOUT MY METHODS: After years of education and gained experience I use a mixture of different methods. With my educational background in classical piano I teach solid playing technique based on Frederick Chopin's teaching method, as he was a passionate teacher himself that developed an array of tools for learners to play the piano in a relaxed, healthy and brilliant manner. I also teach strong theory and ear training to support the pianists to have a high level musicianship skills that will enable them to communicate with other musicians clearly and effectively as well as play not only solo but with bands, duets and orchestras, where the main language is listening and accurately responding to other instruments and musicians. Being an experienced performer, having played not only classical repertoire and concerts, but also being part of jazz, progressive rock and folk bands I adjust your learning journey to support achieving your goals in the quickest and most effective way, without wasting your time on things that are not in your area of focus at the moment. I strongly believe that learning musical language should be approached as learning any language - by practicing speaking it as soon and as much as possible. That's why, when you learn with me, we go straight to the piano playing from the first moment. Using small and consistent steps you will comfortably speak the language of music, in time being able to create longer and longer phrases and sentences and/or read the existing music in more and more efficient and fluent manner. I also always encourage students to take on the adventure of improvised music playing. This tool, that I can introduce you to in a super straight forward and comprehendible way, is honestly a door to a fairy land of music. Opening another dimensions, in which, you will be able to play in any given style without having to resolve to reading music or copying recorded music. And that is very freeing for any musician. With that tool you can just sit down at any piano met on travels or join any band and be able to play your part in a original and smart way. Most of all my teaching style is about the relationship between me and each individual student, so really it's ever changing and flexible. Just like our goals, dreams and abilities.

Playing music and expressing yourself through an instrument is something that everyone can do! I believe in music being an inclusive and attainable skill no matter your experience. I have a passion for both teaching and playing the bassoon and flute, and believe in creating a positive and exciting environment for students. I have 10+ years experience as a flute and bassoon tutor across multiple schools in Sydney and London, and have recently moved to Berlin. I am able to teach in English only. I work as a freelance bassoonist in London and Berlin, and have worked with major orchestras such as the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Berlin Philharmonic Karajan Akademie and the Orchestral of the Royal Opera House, London. I graduated with a Master’s degree from Guildhall School of music and drama, London. My teaching experience is extensive. I have taught students between the ages of 3-30. I have worked 1:1 with students, and have had lots of experience with groups of up to 40 students across many instruments. I have put many students through practical musical exams and highly encourage them if desired. My students have a 100% success rate in their exams. As I am currently a performer, teacher and student myself, I am very aware of the balance between hard work and having fun. I believe the best way to create a successful musical journey is through a positive and encouraging environment, where students can develop their skills and take risks without fear! I also take highly into account the individuality of students and their desires, so make sure to adjust my approach as suited. If you would like to learn the flute and/or bassoon just for fun, you are welcome. If you would like to further develop your musical skills, I offer lessons for competitions, school exams, as well as auditions in orchestras or conservatories.
