Trusted teacher: Drum teacher with over 20 years of experience, 2 degrees in conservatories including the prestigious Codarts in Rotterdam. It offers personalized lessons through its "Lock The Time" method. In my career I have moved in different musical styles and I have played with different artists of international level such as : Junior F. Dixie, Sri Hanuraga (Ingenious jazz pianist-composer from Indonesia Grammy Award winner), Alessandro Mannarino (The most important songwriter of the modern Italian music scene), Nathaniel Peterson (The American Blues Man candidate to the Grammy Awards “Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Iggy Pop, Keith Richards” and many other), Dani Robinson (Experience Hendrix Tour Billy Cox), GrooveX original Indietronic project with a strong musical identity and many others, and the last Teapø project. I have developed a drum manual using progressively harder exercises in dynamics, technique, coordination, polyrhythm, and balance-control, connected to the importance of sound, rhythms of different musical genres, the groove and the jazz music. This manual arose from a need for a complete drum manual that includes the most important aspects of modern drumming, but also sticking to classic drumming rhythms and techniques. It is partly inspired by various musical authors who have helped shape me musically over the years, and partly by my various teachers and studies, but also by my own teaching experience, my concerts and my recordings. It’s therefore also modelled on my own personal drumming style. My method is aimed both at those who have just started and for those who already play in an advanced way. Exam preparation in academies and conservatories is also possible. "Focus on your Drumming"

With a desktop PC, laptop, tablet or phone and an internet connection, you have near-instant access to all the tools necessary to create sounds literally never heard before in human history. Never has it been easier for an aspiring artist to begin, master and hone their craft, be it a hobbyist looking for a cathartic outlet or a chart-topping, platinum-record-stacking industry giant. The issue is; making music's tough. And Digital Audio Workstations are scary. And writer's block is terrible. And music theory makes my teeth itch. With both a masters and bachelors degree in music technology, years of professional musical experience spanning a wide array of genres and applications and eyebrows that'll knock your socks off, I can walk you through everything you need to become an electronic music producer. I can show you advanced tips and tricks to make the most out of your DAW of choice, I can help you with grasping the musical theory necessary to take the stress out of composition, I can teach you how to eradicate the dread of writer's block, discover your own musical voice, and help you become one of the great composers of our modern era. The Beethoven's, the Mozart's, the Tchaikovsky's. Just a little more sleep-deprived, I imagine. Or I can just help you throw a beat together, whatever suits you. (As a seasoned mental health battler; I am available midday to midnight GMT for you night owls, and will happily cater to those uncomfortable with face-to-face online sessions. Neither a webcam nor a microphone is necessary, we can pretend it's a Twitch chat if you need. Don't stress yourself out of wanting to learn. Just be prepared for me to monologue about resampling until you interrupt me with an emote.)

Trusted teacher: (Important! The schedules are now closing with the students I already have, so it is difficult to specify a definitive schedule for September) Hello! I have been teaching uninterruptedly for more than 10 years and I would like to explain to you what you can find in a class with me: - To begin, the most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I would like to focus the classes according to what you need or want, from learning for pure pleasure from scratch to preparing for entrance tests or focusing professionally. The needs of each student may vary the methodology, the way of organizing the study sessions, etc. - Once we know what we want to achieve and by when, classes will begin in a relaxed atmosphere. Important! Relaxed does not equal lax! only that we will try to resort to dynamic and as practical methods as possible, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to highlight is that I always place special emphasis on the development of hearing, musicality and the analysis of your references. Above all so that you can then make your own aesthetic decisions and feel like owner of your music. - Last but not least, my tendency will be to give equal importance to different music. We will adapt to your tastes and needs, but here there is no room to say which music is better or worse. Each one will help us work on different aspects of the music and, if we don't know something, we will analyze it side by side until we unravel all its mysteries. The only thing I will do is work on themes and styles that can help us in each section of musical development (melody, harmony, rhythm, orchestration, production, lyrics, semiotics, etc.) If you like what you've read, don't hesitate to contact me. Learning music is a pleasure and I would love to share it with you! IMPORTANT!!! Due to the volume of concerts and other assignments I have, I will need to agree on a little flexibility. You will always be my priority and there will only be changes if I really can't find an alternative. I appreciate the understanding.

Ableton Live / Make Beats / Write Melodies / Mac and Windows (Steglitz)
Niki
I had a great first lesson using Ableton! Niki spent time helping me with my equipment set-up and also went through some of the settings with me. He explained things very clearly, answered my questions and showed me some of the basic things necessary to find my way as a beginner using Ableton. I now have a few things to try out and I'm excited to start experimenting and seeing what I can record. Thanks Niki!
