Then, I design the course based on the material used in class, but I vary the examples and exercises to give you clear explanations. I use concrete examples from everyday life: yes, creativity is possible in science, and often information can be rephrased in cool ways! In summary: I adapt to your level, needs, and preferences. And above all, we work at your own pace in a relaxed atmosphere! I work online with Zoom and messenger. The student does the exercises with me or follows the examples on the screen. I share a whiteboard. At the end of the course, I send the pdf of our work. About me: Eleven years of experience in teaching: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and other scientific subjects (From 8th grade (Swiss), like 10 years old, (college/ gymnasium), to 1st-year university). On a tight timeline, Mihaela was able to make time to meet with me in person for an hour lesson to introduce me to Italian. For the introductory lesson, I felt it covered a good amount of ground (and she even provided a document of everything we covered and more via email)! She explained hard and soft pronunciation between G + C and pronunciation of vowels. She prepared exercises to help me introduce myself to others. Mihaela even explained some of the historical background of the location we met at, Sforzesco Castle. After our lesson, she also gave me recommendations of places to visit in Milan. In short, Mihaela was thorough, patient, courteous, and communicative! I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

I want to start off by saying a huge thank you to Sacha! I am a Master student who needed academic support for a statistics course in February and although I have always lacked confidence in math, Sacha made me feel as if i had the foundation and ability to not only pass the course but also succeed in writing the results section of my Thesis paper. She was always very flexible in her availability, and was able to meet several times per week, which for me, was very beneficial. Other than that, Sacha was approachable, friendly and a great tutor. I appreciate all the support and definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to grow as an academic :)

We have been impressed with Giovanni's knowledge, dedication and patience he brings to his tutorship lessons. He tutored our son in preparation for GCSE Higher Grade Maths exams.
