Since completing my coursework, I have worked in university research and I am now pursuing a PhD in Tactile Neurophysiology at the University of Gothenburg. ✖️ I have 10+ years of experience in Mathematics tutoring ranging from primary school to university level subjects. Trusted teacher: About the course: During this first hour, we discuss to assess your knowledge and your needs. Usually, we also start the course. I have enough experience to adapt quickly. Then, I design the course based on the material used in class, but I vary the examples and exercises to give you clear explanations. I use concrete examples from everyday life: yes, creativity is possible in science, and often information can be rephrased in cool ways! In summary: I adapt to your level, needs, and preferences. And above all, we work at your own pace in a relaxed atmosphere! I work online with Zoom and messenger. The student does the exercises with me or follows the examples on the screen. I share a whiteboard. At the end of the course, I send the pdf of our work. About me: Eleven years of experience in teaching: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and other scientific subjects (From 8th grade (Swiss), like 10 years old, (college/ gymnasium), to 1st-year university). I graduated from EPFL in Physics and did my Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Geneva. I have a career in research, and I love teaching. Italian classes by an Italian mothertongue! Online or in person in Milan! (Paderno Dugnano)

On a tight timeline, Mihaela was able to make time to meet with me in person for an hour lesson to introduce me to Italian. For the introductory lesson, I felt it covered a good amount of ground (and she even provided a document of everything we covered and more via email)! She explained hard and soft pronunciation between G + C and pronunciation of vowels. She prepared exercises to help me introduce myself to others. Mihaela even explained some of the historical background of the location we met at, Sforzesco Castle. After our lesson, she also gave me recommendations of places to visit in Milan. In short, Mihaela was thorough, patient, courteous, and communicative! I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

We have been impressed with Giovanni's knowledge, dedication and patience he brings to his tutorship lessons. He tutored our son in preparation for GCSE Higher Grade Maths exams. He worked at a pace that was comfortable and suitable, explaining the problems and providing past GCSE exam papers as test exercises, building confidence in the subject.
