Throughout my career as a Graduate Teacher and Graduate Professional Coach, I have worked in various contexts. Until last year, I taught in front of whole classes as well as in private lessons. Since this year, I have been providing face-to-face private lessons at home and also via video conferencing, a mode of teaching that I have practiced with university students for the past ten years. My teaching environment has undergone significant changes, especially with the emergence of the Covid pandemic. This shift has led our secondary school students to adapt to the new mode of learning and communication, namely video conferencing. Despite the success of this transition, it is important to acknowledge that our younger students still require attention and a psycho-emotional connection in order to develop their autonomy peacefully. Over the past two decades, I have implemented proven methodological approaches, some of which are borrowed from theater techniques, such as the Davis method (mind mappings/colors), and my specialty, professional coaching, which aims to enhance your child's motivation. My main goal is to foster agility in your child across all subjects, not only for the present but also for their future when I will no longer be by their side. Ultimately, my objective goes beyond simply focusing on gaining points in a subject. I firmly believe in this approach due to my experience as a Mental Coach working with young athletes between Nice and Cannes, as well as throughout Europe via video conferencing, as part of their preparation for the French Tennis Championships. It has reinforced my conviction that working on a subject should be a nurtured objective that encompasses personal growth and development. Experienced and patient teacher of logic for computer science. I have taught logic, formal languages and automata theory to undergraduates for six years. My tutoring is adapted to the student's level and goals. Logic The sciences presuppose a certain standard of rationality. An ability to distinguish between correct reasoning and claims that do not follow from the assumptions. In this class we study the basic principles of logic and apply mathematical techniques to the study thereof. Topics include: Propositional and Predicate Logic Syntax and semantics Semantic Tableaux Natural deduction Correctness and soundness Completeness Formal languages and automata A formal language is an abstraction of general characteristics of programming languages. Such a languages consists of a set of symbols together with some rules to determine whether a string made up out of those symbols is a member of the language. Topics include: Regular languages, context-free languages Finite automata, pushdown automata, Turing machines Regular expressions Regular grammar, context-sensitive grammar Pumping lemmas for regular and context-free languages

With this course you will learn study techniques to apply to any subject. How to organize your work, tools for outlining and much more. Studying is not just about sitting at your desk and starting to memorize; there are some previous steps to take.

I mainly teach math lessons from middle school to high school. Before starting the lessons, I need to get in touch with the student to know their level, the areas where they want to improve and their objectives. Depending on the level, I adapt the work seen in class to the different points of improvement and suggest exercises consistent with what the student is stuck on. At the same time, I go over point by point the elements that were not for the student (in the Ds and the questions) I rework the exercises seen in class. Finally, and this is the most important, I advise the student on his working methods, with what state of mind to approach the exercises. I can also provide homework help in subjects other than mathematics: I got 17 in the HEC philosophy exams and I didn't get below 18 in subjects such as SES, Philosophy and history in the BAC. I recommend at least one math lesson per week in order to take stock of the week; it is regularity that allows progress. As a Tutor at EDHEC I already have experience of courses with high schools. I am a calm, composed and educational person. In terms of math, I got 18 in my math baccalaureate and then I went to a HEC preparatory class at Louis-Le-Grand in advanced math where I had more than 12 hours of math per week.

You will learn Systematic Reasoning & Logical Thinking which is a requirement for entering Computer Science program in many universities. The book “Delftse Foundations of Computation” especially its second chapter will be the main source of our lesson, but other more in-depth books will be also covered if you want to improve even further on logical thinking. Recent graduate of Oxford University, theology and religion. A*s in A levels and 9s at gcses. Will provide high level tutoring in any subject (ks2-4, gcse, a level etc) related to my degree subject. These include Religious studies, ethics, philosophy, politics, english (literature at a-level, lit and lang gcse). Can offer subject specific teaching, but also more generally essay writing practice, as well as oxbridge interview, personal statement, and entrance exam help, particularly for students in the state sector.
