Trusted teacher: Are you interested in learning basic Japanese? Survival Japanese skills make you easy to explore Japan. Let's enjoy your special moments in Japan as much as possible communicating with local people!🤗🤗 I have been teaching Japanese for 10 years in all over the world. I know your needs, and we can reach your goal as fast as possible!! My students sometimes describe me as a patient teacher. But it's not technically true. I am just aware that impatience doesn't help my student study😊 [Teaching experience] I majored Japanese Education for foreign learners in Kyoto University of foreign studies. My teaching experience started from an internship in an University in the Netherland. After my graduation, I taught Japanese at a language school in Vietnam and in an University in Costa Rica as a professor. Lately I was a Japanese instructor for the U.S. Navy in Japan. As you see, I like to travel and to meet new people from all over the world. That's why I love my job!!🤗 I would love to know your country through this opportunity! [Lesson type] These are the lesson types I can provide. You don't need to choose one at this moment, and we can combinate them as needed. A: Textbook based A lesson based on a textbook. You can preview/review at your own pace. We will focus on oral practices, checking pronunciation and applying the grammar points into a real life situation (advanced practice). ☆Managing your schedules by google spread sheet is also available. If you want me to assign what to do weekly, please take advantage of it🤩 Of course it will be customized only for you. It would be useful and efficient for your rocket study. This is optional, so if you are not willing to use this system, there is no problem!! B: Open conversation We can talk naturally and find a topic / new grammar / new vocabulary in a lesson. You can also bring a topic to talk / discuss about. C: Special lesson A lesson based on a specific topic you want to work on. For example, to prepare your presentation in Japanese, to write your CV/resume in Japanese or intensive listening / writing / Kanji practice etc. [About Textbooks] I will ask your goals of the study before the trial lesson. During the trial lesson we can discuss the best way to get to your goals. Beforehand you can refer to my basic ideas about the textbooks. A. You have your own textbook(s) I am familiar with many textbooks. If you have your own textbook already and if you are willing to use it, let's use it. B. You don't have textbooks and you are going to buy some new one for your study I recommend Japanese for Busy People (4th edition) for the most of English speakers. You can choose Kana (Japanese alphabet) version if learning Japanese alphabets is included in your study goals. You can choose Romanized version if you want to focus on speaking or conversations. C. You are not thinking of using a book at this moment. You want to know basic phrases for your upcoming/future travel to Japan I coordinate the class using my original materials. My expert is "Survival Japanese". I know all of the essential expressions to survive in Japan ;) After finishing these basic sentences, we can talk about another material for the upcoming lessons. D. You are not thinking of using a book at this moment. You have something you want to talk or practice Of course we can do conversational class as well. I have had many students with this style. We can talk about many topics or what you want to practice more. For example, one student has been practicing a martial arts, his goals is to deepen the idea of the martial arts and prepare the next visit to Japan. We talk about the history or culture behind with some phrases in Japanese. Another example is with an advanced student who was looking for some effective practice for improving his listening skill. With several tries and small changes, we have managed the class successfully to suit his purpose. Just I want you to know that we can coordinate our class as you want and we can change the plan if needed. I am super supportive to your success, let's do it together!🥰 If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me anything! I am so excited to see you soon😍🔅

You can learn Japanese in a fun and professional way! (The Hague)
Ai
Ai is a wonderful teacher. She's great at explaining all sorts of grammatical concepts and she's sweet with a good sense of humour to boot. I definitely recommend everyone who's interested in learning how to speak, write or read Japanese to consider taking lessons from her. If you're motivated and do the assigned homework, you'll make a lot of progress in a very small period of time. It's only been two weeks, but I already feel like my Japanese has improved considerably!

Beginners/intermediate Japanese lessons for anybody! (Diemen)
Taimu
I was very impressed by how well Taimu had prepared the lesson - I haven't seen a similarly well prepared (language) teacher in my experience. The entire time I could notice that she had given a lot of attention to details while at the same time keeping the atmosphere light by interweaving anecdotes with the study material. I would highly recommend Taimu.

Soko
I really enjoyed my first lesson with Soko. She is very friendly and helps me when I am not understanding something by trying to explain in a different way. She is a world traveler so we have a lot to talk about! Looking forward to my next meeting with her. I would recommend her to anyone wanting more opportunities to practice speaking Japanese.
