Italian is my mother tongue; I am a graduate of the University of Naples; I taught Italian in several language schools in Belgium. I work in a very natural way, making the student able to speak simple sentences from the very first class. As a general rule I try to teach my classes in Italian, so that the student gets a very effective "full immersion" from the very beginning (support languages, like Dutch, English or French are used if absolutely necessary). At the same time I pay attention to accuracy in pronunciation and grammar. If the student is also interested in Italian literature, we start reading literary texts as soon as fluency in reading allows, according to the student's level and preferences.
