I have eight years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I created a learning method for online courses. I have been preparing students for the DELF, DALF, TCF, FIDE, admission exams, etc. for several years. The course includes: -The material (articles, videos, exercises based on images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises, etc.). I use google doc, so the ideal is to have a gmail address to be able to access it. -Correction of exercises outside the course (written expressions are corrected outside the course, or with the student, depending on their needs). -Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone. -A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar/conjugation, sent after each lesson. -If necessary, a recording of the vocabulary (for beginners). -Carrying out online exercises and tests based on the vocabulary sheets sent. -Motivation, laughter, good humor :-) My method: -It is oral based. -For grammar, I use a particular method which allows oral structures to be automated. -We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises to pose your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-) -Everything goes through the oral before going through the writing but I obviously adapt to the needs of the students. -The course is a little different for children and teenagers: I use interactive games and cards via the webcam. My private violin lesson with Ester was absolutely perfect. I had a privilege to hear Ester play her violin and she is so good- it is crazy to think I was able to learn from her. She is also such a good teacher. Full of knowlege and patience- which is, in my opinion, a rare combination. I had no prior musical education and this was my first real music lesson. Ester managed to teach me basic note reading, correct violin holding and even playing my first tunes. Her explainations are very clear and easy to understand. And her approach is very friendly. She is also a very nice person and easy to talk to. I wish we lived in the same city so I could keep studying playing violin with Ester- that's how good she is. Lidia

My husband and I are probably considered advanced beginner Spanish speakers. We booked a week of lessons with Camilo in Medellin Colombia while we were spending time there and it was a very good experience. Camilo is not just someone who speaks the language; He is educated as a teacher and it shows. For me he did just the right amount of leading/teaching, listening, and correcting. His English is also very good, which was helpful the few times it made more sense to ask/answer in English. He is also a very nice and pleasant person to be with. I highly recommend him as a teacher and imagine that he would be just as good a teacher with true beginners as well as advanced speakers.
