I assign homework after every lesson and provide rich teaching material. I am here to keep you motivated on the rewarding path of learning German. Whether it is for work, school, university or out of personal interest, I can support you! I also specialize in preparing official language exams. More concretely, my specialties are: - Beginners: structured learning of grammar you need right away and practice of new knowledge in our dialogues. Vocabulary is taught through our conversations and in word groups. - A1-B2 exam preparation (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages): based on practice material by the Goethe Institute, innumerous websites and own material - Learning by conversation: you can’t stand looking at too much grammar because it’s just not for you? The answer: talk and type! We’ll share a document with all our dialogues. - Refresher training: I can help you get back on track by letting you talk as much as possible. We can also go through grammar and conversation topics that you need to revise. The day of getting rid of pesky repetitive mistakes has come! You are lucky since brushing up on your German with me will be fun! - Children: they can be the most demanding students regarding learning methods, but I know how to capture their attention and make them excited for more German! Structure of lessons: From experience I know that continuity is key. Therefore, I encourage you to do a little (almost) every day. Trusted teacher: I have an internet site with lots of interactive materials for learning foreign languages including educational games. I also send pdf files with useful grammar and words. I implement effective learning strategies in my lessons to help students concentrate on particular points of grammar and vocabulary. Even absolute beginners start making their own simple sentences. After a while their sentences get more complicated. The process may look like this: 1. They read. 2. They read books. 3. They read books every day. 4. They read interesting books every day. 5. They read interesting books every day when they come from work. 6. They read interesting books every day when they come from work unless they are tired. 7. They read interesting books every day when they come from work unless they are very tired. etc. I also make worksheets which guide students to speak about particular topics. During the lessons my students and I may also read interesting texts in the internet, analyze their grammar structures, vocabulary and even discuss them. I always correct my students' mistakes when they speak or write. Grammar is complicated sometimes, but if you know it well, you will not make critical mistakes. Correcting pronunciation mistakes is also very important. Learning is a process that should bring good feelings of accomplishment and I will gladly help you in this process.

Trusted teacher: The student tells me about the concepts he wants to learn or review in French, German and/or English; I adapt and commit to giving him a course of the best possible quality as well as providing him with exercises and advice adapted to his needs. I completed a Bachelor's degree in multilingual communication (Faculty of Translation and Interpretation of the University of Geneva) and am available to help other students and share my knowledge with them. I started learning German in primary school, have completed numerous language stays in Germany, including a semester as an au pair with daily language classes, and have been living and working for over 3 years in Germany. I also did a semester in Liverpool with daily lessons in a language school and continue to practice it as part of my work. I obtained an official certificate attesting to my level of German (telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule) in 2016, but my current level is a C2. Living in Germany, this is the language I speak on a daily basis. Concerning English, I passed the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (C1) in 2016 as well and uses it fluently in my work. As for the French is my mother tongue. I look forward to being able to help you in your learning and to pass on to you my passion for languages over the course of our meetings!
