Something else that I appreciate about Cecile is that she uses a wide array of teaching materials, not leaving space for boredom or an incomplete understanding of a topic. She incorporates texts, videos, audio, fun quizzes, and exercises from different sources and genres, covering various aspects of the French language and culture. She also encourages to practice comprehensively - speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a balanced way. Very clear as to what his teaching methods and goals are, how he'll help you get there - then jumps right in and gets you started with no fuss. I found myself speaking sentences in Wolof by the end of the lesson, and really appreciate the additional written material he supplied as well. As someone who has taught and learned various other languages I can tell that Dembane has a really sound methodology. I'll add to this review in a few months time, but so far I am impressed. Also glad that he is pointing out regional differences between Senegal and Gambia usage to me, as it's relevant to my learning needs. He does personalise the content for the individual student, which is good to see.

Awni is a wonderful instructor! He is very patient, will answer any question you can think of, and can have a laugh with you during lessons as well! His lessons are very helpful and structured, he is willing to go at your pace and repeat or go over things as many times as needed. It is very evident he is professional and has more than enough education and knowledge to teach the language very thoroughly!! I would highly recommend to take him as a teacher!
