I completed a Bachelor's degree in multilingual communication (Faculty of Translation and Interpretation of the University of Geneva) and am available to help other students and share my knowledge with them. I started learning German in primary school, have completed numerous language stays in Germany, including a semester as an au pair with daily language classes, and have been living and working for over 3 years in Germany. I also did a semester in Liverpool with daily lessons in a language school and continue to practice it as part of my work. I obtained an official certificate attesting to my level of German (telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule) in 2016, but my current level is a C2. Living in Germany, this is the language I speak on a daily basis. Concerning English, I passed the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (C1) in 2016 as well and uses it fluently in my work. As for the French is my mother tongue. I look forward to being able to help you in your learning and to pass on to you my passion for languages over the course of our meetings! Jade is a truly excellent teacher of the French language with whom I have been having lessons for over a year. She’s is not only a native French speaker, but holds degrees in Linguistics, Teaching and Business, and has significant experience of teaching French over many years. The benefit of this is that she is able to effortlessly teach at any level, with a focus on actually speaking the language in conversation. We have had discussions about things as simple as ordering food in a restaurant to subjects as complex as planning application submissions and urbanism rules (I am an architect). I am certainly not a natural linguist, but through her teaching I have gone from someone who was nervous about ordering a croissant in French, to gaining the confidence to deal with the complex language found in the workplace, and in day-to-day life in France. I would highly recommend Jade, whether you are visiting Paris for a short holiday and want to brush up on some vocabulary, or have moved here permanently and want to broaden your command of the French language.

Lamia
Lamia is an excellent teacher!! Thanks to her skills and knowledge, my 12-year-old improved her writing skills. Lamia is patient, and is willing to work until the goals are reached. She helped my daughter to understand her weak points, increase her vocabulary, and use more descriptive and creative language in her writing assignments. I strongly recommend Lamia to everyone who is struggling with writing and creativity.
