I completed a Bachelor's degree in multilingual communication (Faculty of Translation and Interpretation of the University of Geneva) and am available to help other students and share my knowledge with them. I started learning German in primary school, have completed numerous language stays in Germany, including a semester as an au pair with daily language classes, and have been living and working for over 3 years in Germany. I also did a semester in Liverpool with daily lessons in a language school and continue to practice it as part of my work. I obtained an official certificate attesting to my level of German (telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule) in 2016, but my current level is a C2. Living in Germany, this is the language I speak on a daily basis. Concerning English, I passed the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (C1) in 2016 as well and uses it fluently in my work. As for the French is my mother tongue. I look forward to being able to help you in your learning and to pass on to you my passion for languages over the course of our meetings! Mélinda
Melinda is an excellent tutor and I've been completely satisfied by our clases. Melinda took care to understand my learning objectives before structuring are classes around natural conversation, reading, writing, and pronunciation. In particular, she prepares good (and interesting!) learning resources - Including new articles, film clips, and customised exercise sheets. While she speaks English fluently, she manages to teach in a clear and patient manner, meaning she rarely needs to switch to English to explain concepts. Beyond her talents as a teacher, she's incredibly friendly and personable. She's also shown a lot of flexibility regarding class scheduling. For reference to future students: I am a native English speaker learning French as a second language. I had an OK grasp of basic French before starting classes, but lacked both familiarity with grammar and confidence in speaking. I've had several lessons with Melinda and have experienced a clear improvement in my level and I will continue on a regular basis.

Lamia
Lamia is an excellent teacher!! Thanks to her skills and knowledge, my 12-year-old improved her writing skills. Lamia is patient, and is willing to work until the goals are reached. She helped my daughter to understand her weak points, increase her vocabulary, and use more descriptive and creative language in her writing assignments. I strongly recommend Lamia to everyone who is struggling with writing and creativity.
