Whether you'd like to improve your speaking skills and break the language barrier or you wish to prepare better for an English exam, I come to an aid. I'm a 3-year Linguistic student, I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 3 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. That's why I offer the first meeting unpaid, so we can get acquainted and discuss the expectations of both sides. In classes, I will try to raise your confidence and knowledge in English, on 4 levels of proficiency: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. I will focus on your strengths and teach you how to use those to your advantage in learning. We will elicit your potential and together achieve the goals you set for yourself.

Public speaking classes with Jay were top-notch! Even though we held the classes online, he has the rare ability to make you feel at ease in a second and I felt fully engaged. Jay covered a variety of subjects regarding tone, speed, volume, pronunciation, etc. with different exercises.
