My expertise is teaching english, french and geography however I also offer classes in a variety of subjects as listed in the description. I am very easy going with a calm nature. I try to make my lessons as engaging and personable as possible with your interests as a priority. Having gained several qualifications in teaching I understand how students learn and make sure that each lesson is focussed on improving my student's development. I make my lessons as active and closely related to your passions & interests as possible to keep them as active as possible. I really focus my lessons on my student's needs and tailor each lesson differently so that you get the best possible experience for your money. I like to build relationships with my students to make sure that they feel confident and comfortable enough to make mistakes as well as freely expressing themselves. As a teacher I often work closely with students in schools who need extra help to get them to the level that they need to be. I have plenty of experience working 1:1 with special needs students which has provided me with the skills to cater to all pupils. Inès came to my place this morning to teach me the Basics+ of Instagram and I must say I really enjoyed her lesson and learned ALOT !! She taught me about how to create professional looking posts and advised on which website to use. She also taught me about setting up an Instagram account for a business and how to get insights as to my audience etc . She taught me about FB page setup for linking to an Instagram account . And we spoke about hastags, tagging and content planning too. Inès knew how to adapt to my needs immediately by asking a few questions and she was able to propose ideas and relevant websites accordingly. Her explanations were very clear , she demonstrated a lot of expertise and she clearly knew what she was talking about. I would recommend Inès to everybody wishing to learn more about Instagram !

It is always a pleasure to meet Phil for our weekly online French classes. He is a patient and kind teacher and always full of energy for our class. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. I woulf highly recommend Phil if you are looking for a French tutor :)

We planned an alternative lesson format for my 9 year old son who is not a traditional learner and can be anxious of new people. Melanie took this in her stride and put my son at ease right from the beginning. The point of the lesson was to increase confidence in speaking French.. Melanie appealed to his interests and made sure the topic was engaging while at the same time being patient with his quirky nature. Melanie has a mature and professional attitude to her tutoring and I would recommend her.
