I am Laila, a graduate of the Higher School of Teachers. I want to share with you my previous experience in the field of teaching and teaching you the Arabic language and all its sciences. My teaching method goes beyond memorization, because I believe that it is necessary to learn any subject from understanding and thus develop learning, to apply it in an exam or work done during the course. My goal is to get students to have an active attitude both in class and when preparing for a test. I am a person who is passionate about learning and sharing my knowledge, not just for an exam. I also believe that if you are able to foster interest in any subject, the results are achieved organically. My system is to make the content understood in a didactic way and to awaken interest in said content.

With this course you will learn study techniques to apply to any subject. How to organize your work, tools for outlining and much more. Studying is not just about sitting at your desk and starting to memorize; there are some previous steps to take.

I mainly teach math lessons from middle school to high school. Before starting the lessons, I need to get in touch with the student to know their level, the areas where they want to improve and their objectives. Depending on the level, I adapt the work seen in class to the different points of improvement and suggest exercises consistent with what the student is stuck on. At the same time, I go over point by point the elements that were not for the student (in the Ds and the questions) I rework the exercises seen in class. Finally, and this is the most important, I advise the student on his working methods, with what state of mind to approach the exercises. I can also provide homework help in subjects other than mathematics: I got 17 in the HEC philosophy exams and I didn't get below 18 in subjects such as SES, Philosophy and history in the BAC. I recommend at least one math lesson per week in order to take stock of the week; it is regularity that allows progress. As a Tutor at EDHEC I already have experience of courses with high schools. I am a calm, composed and educational person. In terms of math, I got 18 in my math baccalaureate and then I went to a HEC preparatory class at Louis-Le-Grand in advanced math where I had more than 12 hours of math per week.

History is a challenging subject at both GCSE and A Level, both in terms of understanding and remembering the copious amounts of content as well as learning how to jump through the hoops of exam technique. This class is designed, by a former student who is now studying history at university, to assist in both obtaining the highest possible grade in history, but also to spread my passion for history and hopefully create a long lasting interest in my pupils. I am also able to help with other items which I studied at A Level, namely Religious Studies and Economics. In addition to this, I can provide assistance with the Oxford HAT test as I scored highly in it despite not being accepted.

I specialise in teaching GCSE and A level sociology and psychology and also I am able to teach GCSE religious studies. As I am a newly graduated student hence I am up to date with today’s curriculum and what to teach students. I can help them achieve amazing grades i can make them the notes they need to revise as well as more simplified way of teaching them. This will help them understand better.
