Very timely, great communication and my son indicated Bibek's lesson really helped him in his preparations for the OMPT-A Test. Thank you!
Excellent teacher. I took Linear Algebra classes from Bibek. He came to the lessons always prepared beforehand which made the learning process a lot smoother and easier for me. He didn't only go through each concept and topic in detail but also made sure to illustrate every concept with supplementary exercises. His patient and detail-oriented teaching style helped me learn the core concepts of linear algebra from scratch. I am pretty sure one doesn't come across such a kind and understanding tutor that often. Thank you very much again Bibek for all your efforts!
Bibek was great! He really helped me fill the gaps in my knowledge with math and also gave me insight to a new perspective when approaching questions which was great.
Highly recommend his lessons!
My daughter explained that the lesson was much more favorable to her last tutor. Bibek seemed to know immediately what the math was and how to explain it. Much appreciated!
Very knowledgeable tutor. I was preparing for the Boswell exam and his patience and ever-positive attitude were instrumental to my understanding and subsequent passing of the exam. Best of all, he recognises your weak points as a student and helps you remedy them by adjusting his teaching methodologies to facilitate that. I've booked 10 sessions with him to eliminate deficiencies and still plan to do more sessions with him in the future!

Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics Tutoring for Highschool studentsAs a second year medical student, I have an abundance of experience with learning mathematics and sciences. I took all three sciences and maths in my IBDP Diploma. Now, I am continuing to extensively develop my science and maths knowledge in my medicine course.
Maths and sciences are very interesting and important subjects, but can be quite challenging to learn independently. My tutoring is focussed on providing clear, structured, organised and engaging lessons to help with any confusion. I tailor my lessons to the students needs and encourage them to be active in their own learning through means of practice questions. I am someone who is kind, attentive, motivated and hard-working and these attributes come across in my tutoring sessions.
As a recent IB graduate with a score of 44/45 (All 7's in the Sciences and Maths), I know how to master the content of the IB diploma in a smart way. Since the IB diploma covers a very universal curriculum and my knowledge of sciences/maths is solid, I can also help in tutoring of other systems.

Mathematics: Calculus, Algebra, Abstract Algebra, Geometry, Analysis, Probability and StatisticsHello, I am a mathematics masters student specializing in algebra, geometry and number theory. I have graduated from the university of Groningen with a bachelor in mathematics. As such, I've spent a great deal of time studying mathematics at a higher level and have become acquainted with a broad range of mathematical disciplines such as algebra, geometry, analysis, calculus, probability, optimization and more, this of-course includes any high school mathematics. During my studies I working as a teaching assistant whenever possible so I have some experience teaching.
In mathematics there are often many ways to come to the same conclusion and it varies from person to person what they consider easiest to understand. As such I try to get to know the student first and figure out how they may learn best. Personally, I rely a lot on intuition and deep understanding of concepts and so i try to convey to students the most essential and fundamental ideas before moving on, as well as, giving them interpretations of what is happening so that they may becomes easier to imagine and more tangible. In solving any problem, I think it is important to first sit back and understand what is going on before embarking on any calculation or proofs.
In a typical class I would first survey what the student already knows and discuss the concepts with them making sure they understand them very well then we would move on to discussing examples and non-examples (this would take most of the class). Finally we would solve problems together discussing them as we go along. This of course can vary from student to student, their level and time available.

Enjoy learning DutchAs a certified NT2 teacher (Dutch for speakers of other languages), I respond to your wishes in learning the Dutch language. We first look together at where you are, what your goals are and how you like to learn. The most important thing for me is that learning the language is fun and that you can use the language with confidence. I have several years of experience in teaching both young people and adults and people with fear of failure/speaker anxiety.
As a certified Dutch teacher I will adapt to your wishes when it comes to learning the Dutch language. We will first talk about your language level, what to start with, what your goals are, and in which ways you would like to learn. For me it is most important that you will experience learning Dutch as enjoyable, and that you will be able to use/start using the language with confidence. I have taught Dutch for several years to both children and adults, and people with a fear of failure/fear of speaking.

IB Diploma - IGCSE and MYP Mathematics, Mathematics-Economics teacher: professional supportAre you looking for support for your child? Does your child have difficulties following the subject matter of the IB Diploma or Abitur and feels overwhelmed?
Your reason for reading:
Ever since I was born, my curiosity has never been contained - I was always looking for new challenges and as soon as something interested me, I wanted to know everything about it, no matter how long it took. Among my friends and colleagues, I am known for familiarizing myself with new topics in a very short time and developing a profound understanding
The key to success: Education.
In my opinion, free education is the highest and most valuable asset we have and we should do everything we can to continuously educate ourselves.
At this point, it would be wrong to say that "unfortunately" everyone is knitted differently. Thank God this is exactly the case and this is where the biggest problem in our society begins. Even in the early years we are not optimally encouraged. Parents try their best to give their children the best education, but they and the teachers are often overwhelmed by the situation at school. Of course, this is not entirely the fault of the teachers. Imagine supporting 30 children individually in 90 minutes. Effectively this means 3 minutes for each child and now they see your own daughter or son trying to explain a complex task in that time - let's be honest! Here it quickly becomes clear that this is not only too little time for your child, we would also fail because of it.
Always looking for self-optimization:
Self-optimization has rarely been worth as much as it is today. I teach students from all walks of life and this is what I love about my job and why I ended up becoming a personal coach.
Inflation does not only exist in the economy, knowledge is also inflationary in education. Once we stop and continue to educate, over time our level of knowledge becomes less valuable. So we have to do something to educate ourselves.
Achieve goals:
My goal is to give your daughter or son the best possible education in exactly the subject where most people fail - mathematics.
It doesn't matter whether it's in the German Abitur or in the International Baccalaureate (IB Diploma), mathematics is a big hurdle for most people. My goal is to make this hurdle easier for your child. This includes not only dryly explaining tasks - no, but restoring fun and motivation. Nobody wants to study for something where they have the feeling of standing in front of a wall and only understand the train station.
In the end, I want your child to be prepared with a deeper understanding and to lose the fear of difficult tasks. For this, I optimize learning techniques, fill in gaps, and see where your child's individual goal is. In the end, your child should go to my lessons in a tailor-made way and optimally supported. Of course, I'm not a silver bullet and development varies from student to student, but my personal aim is to offer you premium service clothing that is otherwise rarely found on the market.
Thank you for your interest
Did you know? On average, a reader decides within the first few seconds whether to read a text to the end.
Best regards,
Yves Maurice

A Physics Master's student with 5 years of tutoring experience, teaching Physics and Math in Cologne.Hello there. I am Erdem, I have been tutoring students on math and physics for the last 6 years. I studied Physics in Istanbul Bogazici Uni, Turkey. Currently I am doing a masters on Atmospheric Physics at the University of Cologne.
6 years ago, I started tutoring because it is a very fun job to do. I liked seeing students learn things that they had not been able to learn before. Seeing those 'aha' moments when it finally 'clicks' for them makes me want to continue this work forever.
Sometimes students have a hard time understanding some concepts. The reason is typically the fact that they miss some vital information from the previous topics, and they don't know what they don't know. I think my most important job as a tutor is figuring out what they don't know, and help them fill the blanks in their knowledge.
Note: Unfortunately I don't speak German at the moment, (Although I am working on it) I can tutor only in English or Turkish.
I will be giving my lectures in Cologne. I will not be charging for the travel as long as your place is in Cologne. I charge for travel if it is outside of the city.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send me a message. Hope to see you in class :)
