I make recordings of violins and string ensembles. The teaching methodology is based on understanding the technical and musical learning process, progressive study with examples performed by the teacher, using academic and popular repertoire, scale and arpeggio systems, and exercises for developing muscle memory.

Depending on your level in our lessons, we might start by practicing basic things like scales. Then, we move on to different books that match how good you are at playing. I'll teach you special techniques, like the Tune Day Method, to help you get better. But most importantly, I want you to enjoy what you're playing, so I'll let you choose the songs you enjoy.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. It is simply finding out what is best for each person. Once we find the key we can unlock the problems that have puzzled you for ages. Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing. Certain aspects can also lead to additional practical skills such as improvisation which can be very useful as well as very enjoyable.
