No matter your age or background, I assure you that you can play whatever instrument you choose. We will work with all types of music, with special emphasis on the music you like. As an Argentinean, I love to spread my culture by teaching tango and Argentinean folk music! I also have extensive experience in teaching classical music and popular songs. From your very first lessons, you will learn by playing and enjoying the instrument. I will guide you through personalized lessons, customized to your unique needs and playing goals. We will play a lot during the lesson and I will also help you develop correct technique, music reading skills and the art of musical interpretation. I have worked with students of all ages, levels and abilities. I teach online and also at my studio and at the University of Arts (UNA) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Guitar along with the piano are the instruments that are responsible for harmony. In the workshop music will be approached mainly from that place, from the technical to the practical. That is, the reason why a set of notes played simultaneously sounds the way it does, and why it sounds. With this course the objective is that the student can begin to manipulate harmony to play the music they want, re-harmonize it if they want or even compose their own music.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. If you are a complete beginner we'll be starting with different finger exercises, music theory and will be discovering different genere's of music as well. The ultimate goal will be to make you able to play your favourite songs without being dependent on internet for the notes. Learning to play an instrument is an amazing skill to possess! I have been playing guitar for 12 years now and piano for 2 years. Playing instrument provides me with a hobby that is equal parts calming and fun, it brings joy to me and to others. It is best to start learning music at a young age however, it is never too late to pick up a new skill! I myself have recently tried learning the cello and it is exciting to say the least. I have many years experience tutoring and teaching both academically and musically. I have taught ages 4-15 years old in the past as well as having many years experience in customer service. I can teach chords, fingerstyles and plucking, full songs or melodies, in either tab form or standard music notation.
