I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

Art is a means of expression for the mind. Through art, we are able to start to realise our dreams, imaginations and visions. During this class, you will be guided on how to develop ideas into tangible objects which then aids you in communicating your dreams, imaginations and visions. The class also empowers you to be daring in your approaches through inviting you to test media, approaches and techniques.

Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

Blender is one of the most popular and well-renowned 3D modelling software. To many it is scary and difficult to approach and starting is the hardest part! Learning how to use Blender is a vital skill if you are interested in Game Design, advertising, CGI and a plethora of other things. 3D is in almost every industry. In this class, I will teach you all the essentials you will need to know so you can: model, texture and animate within this software. I have 3 years of experience within Blender and I have a distinction in a Level 3 extended diploma in Games Development. I have completed both Under-graduation and Post-graduation in Fine Arts and PG diploma in Pre&Primary teachers training. My careful preparation of lesson plans allowed me to break down complicated concepts to simple examples that the adult and young students could grasp, which was rewarding for both my students and for me. I always give my best by managing the difference of abilities among my students and tailoring the activities to maintain the interest level of students without any intimidation.

I work traditionally in physical mediums such as watercolour, oil paint, acrylics, gouache, coloured pencil, charcoal and graphite. I graduated with a First Class BA Honours in Fine Art from Southampton University. I run workshops for groups locally, and work with therapeutic art techniques. I'm well-versed in grant writing, having achieved 3 successful grants to date and my work is featured in a number of publications. I have been fortunate enough to have works in private collections. My hours are flexible, and the range of mediums I work in is too. I have experience teaching, and am bilingual in English and Greek.
