I am a native speaker of French who loves learning other languages and understanding other cultures. My experience in learning other languages as an adult helps me empathize with my students' difficulties, and I find that knowledge of other languages' structures and vocabulary allows me to better guide speakers of those languages through the differences they find with French. I hold a Master's degree in Romance Languages from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, with specialization in French as a foreign language. I also benefited from the Erasmus exchange programme, living for a year in Italy. On my return to Belgium, I then qualified as a secondary school teacher via the 'agrégation' route. My teaching experience includes working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school in Spain, during which time I also gave private classes. Since returning to Belgium, I taught French for a further five years in a secondary school in Brussels and now have several years' experience as a private tutor.

Hello, My name is Lucas I'm 22 and currently doing a gap year in Lisbon, after finishing my Bachelors in International Relations. I grew up in Belgium, my mother tongue is French, but I also speak Spanish, German, and Portuguese (Portanto, tambem posso dar aulas em Portugues) I have been giving French and Spanish classes before since I was 16. I love to teach and to also learn a lot from the students. I did in-person teaching but also gave online tutoring classes. The students I taught ranged a lot in level, from A2 to C1, which made me adapt the course to every person specifically. I think it is here where I am the best at, as I always try to structure my classes around the student I teach, and not based on a pre-organised course.
