Who am I? I am a highly qualified teacher with several years of experience in teaching Italian to foreign students. I organize courses for children, courses for individuals over 60, and preparation courses for Italian language exams. My first degree is in Italian Studies, focusing on Theory, Criticism, and Methodology, with a specific path for teaching Italian to foreigners. My second degree is in Modern Philology. I also completed a Master’s in Contemporary Art and Curatorial Practices at the Luiss Business School in Rome. **What did I do before teaching?** Before dedicating myself to teaching, which I consider the best job in the world, I worked in the fields of fashion and contemporary art. After obtaining my master's degree, I worked as a curator of contemporary art and fashion exhibitions in important museums in Rome. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language.
