I was also an Intercollege Chess Champion back in my country, Mauritius, hence, I can give you various techniques and strategies to foresee the moves of your opponents, calculate and plan everything in your head before acting (so as to prevent your rival from getting any hint of your motives) and brain exercises to improve your logic and memory simultaneously as these two areas of the brain are the two main determinants of how fierce and successful a chess player you would be. As for the translation works, I specialise in the translation of any work ranging from research articles to simple homework. I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying the Turkish Language and Literature in my undergraduate programme. I worked in a language school and at universities, and I suppose I gained success. 😊 My achievements are directly proportional to my students’ success. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for 14 years. I also taught Turkish for 4 years when I was a university student. I learned Ottoman Turkish at the university, that is why I am familiar Persian and Arabic vocabulary. I also studied Persian, German and Italian grammar. I completed my master's degree in Ottoman history and spent a semester as an Erasmus student at the Turkish Studies Department of Leiden University. A basic but correct conversation is really important for self-confidence in any language. If a learner can master basic sentence forms, the rest will come much easier.
