Hello everyone! I am Gamze, a bioinformatician and evolutionary biologist working with the evolution of bats! I graduated from a multidisciplinary field called Earth System Science where geology, climatology, geography, and biology meet! Additionally, I am a caver and I enjoy exploring the underground world. I am an international contemporary art curator with 15 years experience working with public and private collections. I am currently undertaking a PhD, developing alternative contemporary art narratives within heritage collections. This course is intended to students andadults who want to familiarise with curatorial practice prior to undertake a Master, to current students in curatorial pracitce for further advice and tutorials, as well as to emergent artists or students in contemporay art who ned further support in working with a space. I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. Hello, my name is Kate and I am a first-year student at the University of Toronto, majoring in political science and double minoring in European Affairs and Human Geography. I've attended the British School in the Netherlands and have completed both my GCSE's and the IB. During my GCSE's I took separate sciences, spanish, english literature, maths, drama and geography with grades ranging from 6-9. In IB I took higher level english literature, geography, spanish and standard level maths applications and interpretations, psychology and biology.
