Florence en Toscane worden vaak geassocieerd met Dante Alighieri, de vader van het Italiaans. Net zoals Haarlem in Nederland bekend staat om zijn ABN-uitspraak, wordt het Italiaans uit Florence beschouwd als het standaardtaalgebruik. Momenteel ben ik docent Italiaans bij de Volksuniversiteit Delft. Eerder gaf ik drie jaar les bij de Volksuniversiteit Rotterdam. Naast mijn werk als docent ben ik ook professioneel zanger van traditionele Italiaanse volksliederen. Dit combineer ik graag in mijn lessen, omdat het leren van een taal makkelijker én leuker wordt met behulp van bekende teksten en melodieën. Ik begeleid mijn zang vaak met gitaarspel, waardoor de Italiaanse sfeer compleet is. Voor beginners maak ik gebruik van een toegankelijk leerboek dat stap voor stap de basis van het Italiaans uitlegt. Daarnaast besteed ik aandacht aan de Toscaanse keuken en cultuur, zodat je niet alleen de taal leert, maar ook het Italië-gevoel ervaart. Ik kijk ernaar uit om je te ontmoeten en samen de prachtige Italiaanse taal en cultuur te ontdekken! The lesson and learning materials provided is very well structured and paced. Mrs Rattana caters to each student’s learning style. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised how much I learned in my first lesson with Mrs Rattana (1-hour conversational + 1 hour for reading writing) that I couldn’t believe it was just the first meeting with her! I find myself grasping the Thai language so much more than I could ever learn by myself despite the wealth of online resources. Very glad I made the decision to learn Thai with Mrs Rattana guidance :) At the time of writing, I have completed by 3rd class and more to go. My goal is to reach and master the basics. I highly and truly recommend Mrs Rattana class to anyone who wishes to learn Thai competently, at a pace that stretches you a little but not too out of reach. Despite the challenge in learning a new language, rest assured that you’ll be well guided.

Anna is an amazing teacher, understanding very well the student needs and adapting her method to it but also to progress made. Personally, I felt I improved very fast and saw my progress daily which was a big surprise. All of this without feeling I had to make too much efforts, it was all very smooth and natural. I can only recommend her to whoever wants to learn Japanese from scratch.

Rosa
Best way to learn a laungage is from a native speaker. Rosa was very professional always arriving on time and having a clear plan on how the lesson will progress. She also sent me via e-mail links to websites were I could practice what I have learnt with exercises. I highly recommend Rosa to anyone who is looking for a professional, punctial and flexible teacher.
