In this course, a theme will be chosen according to the interest of the learner. Books and authors will be chosen. The course will feature global and local contextualization of the time to understand literature. A writing project will also be carried out in the agreed genre (chronic, essay, story, etc.). At the end of the course, the student is supposed to have literary, narrative notions, as well as a spiritual learning in which literature is mixed with his understanding of daily life. Reading is food for the soul.

The methodology of the Baccalaureate exercises are just as important as the course itself. Knowing your lesson is useless if the student does not know how to explain his thoughts and organize his thoughts on a copy. Regarding history and other subjects studied at school, college or high school I can help in all literary subjects (not scientific) but I will be more effective in giving English classes that I speak fluently and philosophy which is a subject that fascinates me.

My name is Amandine, I'm in License LLCER (Languages, Letters and Civilizations Foreign and Regional) of English, with Portuguese and Norwegian in minor. I also lived a year in Argentina. I am therefore trilingual French-English-Spanish. I obtained the Literary Baccalaureate with highest honors (19.16 / 20 average). I am able to give tutoring lessons from primary to high school, especially in languages and for literary subjects (Literature, Philosophy, French, English, Spanish). I can also teach the methodology for each subject to prepare for the exams. I have always been a very rigorous and organized student, I think this is the key to success. Learning involves regular practice (especially for languages) and work methodology. KEY OBJECTIVES: • To introduce the right toolkit to take on contemporary art of any kind, no matter how difficult, minimal and conceptually driven it may be. • To learn to spot and call out artwork that is being difficult or challenging because it’s a load of rubbish. • To make you feel more confident when making and looking at contemporary art! How can we be so categorical about something as subjective as deciding if art is ‘good’ or ‘bad’? Think of it like this: If you’re not any good at carpentry, you can still identify a poorly made coffee table. Basically, what we’re going to try to do is understand how to recognise if an artwork has been responsibly made or not. In the case contemporary art that has been made responsibly, this class will suggest that your kid could not have made it, any more than they could have removed your appendix, designed a suspension bridge or landed a crashing helicopter. In the case of art that has not been made responsibly, then yes, perhaps your kid could have made it.

As a student at Sciences Po Lille, my multidisciplinary training allows me to teach in these three areas.
