Hello everyone! My name is Noam and I am a professional drummer, drum teacher and music producer, living in Brussels. I am available for drum lessons in Brussels for all levels, beginner to advanced. Learning drums is extremely fun and satisfying! It involves the entire body and the mind, challenging in many different ways and extremely rewarding. While it can be demanding to learn an instrument, it can be as easy as you want it to be. Our lessons can be designed to fit your personal goal. In the lessons we will play songs, study technique and reading and learn different genres of music - all while having fun! I have been teaching for over 12 years. I am very passionate about teaching music, I believe it has the power to change lives, and also helps with just putting a smile on your face :)

In my private lessons I place a great emphasis on feeling and experiencing rhythm. I try to address your internal metronome and teach you to count to four again. On the basis of djembe and African percussion you quickly learn how rhythm works what the building blocks? You will soon discover that it is a puzzle whose pieces you can knock.

As a percussion and drum tutor, I offer personalised lessons designed to help students of all skill levels develop their rhythmic abilities. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, I tailor my teaching style to meet your needs, focusing on both technique and musicality. I teach a range of percussion instruments, including drum kit, snare, latin percussion, tuned and more, while emphasising solid foundational skills, improving timing, and enhancing coordination. I also specialise in tuned percussion, such as xylophone and vibraphone, helping students develop pitch recognition and melodic playing. In addition, I incorporate Latin percussion, teaching instruments like congas and pandeiro, to explore rhythm and groove in diverse musical styles. With a passion for music and an approach that prioritises fun, my lessons aim to motivate you to progress, build confidence, and truly enjoy the art of drumming.

Methodology I base my teaching what the student wants to learn and also through years of teaching and learning I can help guide you on this path. Techniques, phrase development, solo, accompaniment, odd rhythms and creation of your own sound. We will cover traditional rhythms from Turkey, the Balkans, Egypt. I can teach darbuka and bendir from beginner to advanced level. Riq, indian tabla, konnakol, cajon, daf, indian tabla and percussion set ups can also be taught A bit about me: I have been playing oriental percussion professionally since 2010 with many groups and touring all over the world and I've recorded albums for groups such as Light in Babylon.

Starting from the fact that an Epic Intro of each song can determine the success of your artistic compositions, it is important to say that musical composition is a key tool to create and develop songs and concerts, through ensemble rhythms and their Syncopations you will learn to compose Epic Intros with the Afro-Cuban and Latin flavor. We will use percussion and choir instruments, body percussion and ideophone accessories (bells, Hierros, Kilin, etc.) from Drums BEAT I will teach you the Afro-Beat rhythmic marches that will give musical richness to your projects .

I am a Professional Oud and percussion (Riq) player with 10 years of expertise in live and online performance. A music tutor who have taught at the Higher Institute Of Music and several private institutes as well as teaching in many private schools for five years ( Damascus, Syria), through witch I have gathered experience to teach music in general for all ages (Children, Youth, Adults), I am fully capable of playing and teaching Oud and percussion (Riq), in addition to teaching Solfege, oriental and classical music theory and history of music.

I studied classical, Latin, Brazilian percussion and Vibraphone and I am currently working professionally as a percussion player. I am from Portugal but my studies were done in Rotterdam at Codarts. I offer tools for my students to develop a strong rhythmic sense, good listening skills and knowledge of basic score reading. I enjoy developing a student/teacher relationship where students can feel comfortable playing the instrument and have joy in the process. In each individual situation, I shape my teaching to best serve the needs of the pupil, will that be following a method and going every step by the book, or take a favorite song into consideration and from there build up a workable strategy. Everything is flexible in the end, the most important is to learn while enjoying music!
