I take the help of animated videos to explain difficult concepts. Uses various tools like GeoGebra and concept maps to explain the graphs and equations. Teaching over the years, I also have a wide range of collections of books, practice questions and study sources from which I provide students with to practice. Some regular homework helps to understand the subject very well.

Trusted teacher: Dear students and parents, I am an enthusiastic and hard-working multilingual (English, Russian, Turkish, Azerbaijani) Math and Statistics educator and Data Analyst with 12 years of teaching and 16 years of research experience in an international environment. First, as a Math Teacher, my main aim is to encourage students to analyze the problem carefully and find different solutions for one question. This method helps students to choose the easiest way of solution for her/him during the exam and finish it in time. I teach students both ways how to solve questions without a calculator with math tricks, and how to use a calculator more effectively. As you know in the exam there might be non-calculator and calculator papers. Moreover, this ability helps students not only to understand the math subject deeply but also will be very helpful during their adult life. As a Math High-Level and Standard-Level (AA, AI) teacher in IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Program) the part of my teaching also consisted of supervising students’ research projects. Previous research experience in the frame of UNDP (UN Development Program) by that time was very valuable. Being an IB Math Examiner helped me to see the clear picture of students' mistakes done during the solutions. So, I teach students how to show their solutions to get more marks on the exam. Working with British School during this hard time of COVID taught me to be prepared for any challenges, to make decisions in a very short time, to be ready for any daily but very important changes. Teaching online became more interesting by using such helpful math tools as Desmos, GeoGebra, TI 84 Calculator Online, etc. Having teaching experience (Math and Statistics) in one of the top universities of the US (UW-Madison) helped me clearly to see the path of a student from the school bench to the university auditorium. Only by working in both school and university, you can understand what is better to learn for a student to be helpful in the future university years. I have learned a lot from our sessions and he marries the conceptual gaps that come up by explaining the ideas and properties very well. Haralambie provides guidance, patience, and context to the topics covered in subjects that are otherwise disorienting. We work together to hammer out a conceptual stump. Eli is a fantastic tutor who I highly recommend. She guided my daughter through her highschool math and was always there if questions arose. She really knows her math and is an excellent pedagogue, very good at explaining. She is accommodating when it comes to scheduling and can suggest what your child needs in order to do well with their studies. We tried several tutors in different subjects, but Eli was the only one we stuck with and our daughter really liked her.
