As an Economics student with a deep passion for mathematics, I am enthusiastic about sharing my love for the subject with others. My lessons are aimed at students who may find math challenging or uninteresting, as well as those who want to strengthen their mathematical skills. I strive to make math engaging and accessible, breaking down complex concepts into understandable segments. My goal is to help students not only improve their mathematical abilities but also develop a genuine appreciation for the beauty and utility of math in various fields, including economics. I have been teaching students of various age groups, from year 4 to 11, for two years now. I like to start with starter tasks to gauge their ability and then move towards what they like in a way that helps them study effectively. My teaching approach is personalised, focusing on the individual needs and preferences of each student to create a supportive and motivating learning environment. By incorporating practical examples and interactive activities, I aim to make learning math a rewarding and enjoyable experience. This class focuses on strengthening the foundation of algebra which is a key topic in maths. We will look at fundamental concepts, including collecting like terms, substitution, factorising expressions, linear graphs, etc. We will be mainly referring to AQA Mathematics Syllabus for GCSE, however this can be tailored to your preference. This class is open to students across all years wanting to improve their solving skills!

Boost your grades and be prepared for your GCSEs! I'm offering one-to-one support for GCSE Maths for Year 9-11s. I also can teach Year 7-8, although it may not be GCSE level. This involves teaching new concepts, revisiting past topics and applying this to exam practice. I will teach you revision and exam techniques to help you secure those grades! My personal goal would also be to ignite your curiosity and I hope you can enjoy maths as much as me (maths is THE best subject in the world). I also plan to teach maths from SCRATCH, from the very basics. I realised that students who struggled with maths did not have a chance to understand the basics. My goal is to start from the very beginning and teach you how to think mathematically, something many schools do not emphasise. We can work together to correct any misconceptions and be better mathematicians in the long run. We will move at just the right speed, depending on your understanding, and progress to new topics with strong foundations on the basics. I've had over a year of experience with tutoring GCSE students as well as my personal experiences as a student. I know first-hand what is effective and what is a waste of time. I have achieved Grade 9s in both Maths and Further Maths and I am currently an engineering student at King's College London. These lessons will be held online and you can join from the comfort of your own home. I plan to teach after school or on weekends, but I am open to changes so it fits both of our schedules! I am also more flexible during the summer holidays (July-August). I can offer the following, weekly: - 1 hour GCSE Maths - 2 hour GCSE Maths - 1 hour GCSE Science + 1 hour GCSE Maths But of course, send me a message and we can discuss it further!
