Hello ! My name is Terence, I come from Cameroon, and I live in Cameroon, I am an industrial maintenance engineer with a degree in this field. My professional and academic career has been entirely in French, and I have acquired solid experience in teaching French in person. As a lover of discovery, I like to share my passion for the French language and culture with my students. My courses are designed to help you master key skills such as grammar, vocabulary, verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as communication in a professional (business) and family context. I ensure that I offer practical and interactive teaching, adapting to your specific needs to ensure effective progression. Whether you are preparing for an exam, want to improve your professional skills, or simply discover the language, I am here to guide you through each step. Each course is an opportunity to grow while exploring new horizons in a caring and motivating environment. I have 4 years of experience in teaching French in person. During these four years of volunteer teaching at the vocational training center, I had the opportunity to work with learners of various levels, from complete beginners to intermediate and advanced students. My role was to adapt my teaching methods to each group while respecting the specific needs of each learner. For beginners, I focused on acquiring the basics of the French language, starting with the alphabet, phonetics, and common expressions. The lessons were interactive, incorporating pronunciation exercises, simple reading, and role-playing to make learning more fun and motivating. The goal was to get them to understand simple sentences and be able to hold basic conversations. With the intermediate learners, I worked on vocabulary enrichment and grammar improvement. We explored more complex texts and carried out more structured writing exercises, including writing short essays and analyzing narrative or informational texts. The practice was done through debates and discussions on current topics. For advanced students, my approach was more focused on mastering the subtleties of the language. We covered literary works, studied different language registers, and perfected the conjugation of complex tenses. The courses also included mock professional interviews and oral presentations to strengthen their skills in formal and professional contexts. My goal was to bring them to a level where they could express themselves fluently and accurately, both in writing and speaking. This experience allowed me not only to acquire expertise in teaching French as a native language, but also to develop skills in intercultural communication.

Trusted teacher: I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying the Turkish Language and Literature in my undergraduate programme. I worked in a language school and at universities, and I suppose I gained success. 😊 My achievements are directly proportional to my students’ success. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for 14 years. I also taught Turkish for 4 years when I was a university student. I learned Ottoman Turkish at the university, that is why I am familiar Persian and Arabic vocabulary. I also studied Persian, German and Italian grammar. I completed my master's degree in Ottoman history and spent a semester as an Erasmus student at the Turkish Studies Department of Leiden University. A basic but correct conversation is really important for self-confidence in any language. If a learner can master basic sentence forms, the rest will come much easier. On the other hand, making mistakes is also very important. Especially, a learner can not speak without making a mistake the first and second time. My students are always varied and have diverse learning skills. My professionalism also allows me to tailor language education according to individual interests, needs, and capacities. In the classroom, I hold firm three main principles: first, providing a comfortable environment, second, creating an encouraging atmosphere, and third, establishing a collaborative instruction model. I consider that I developed an aptitude for making learning Turkish much easier, more enjoyable, and more practical for my students. I use a book prepared by a university in Turkey. I share the pdf version of the book for my lessons. I also adapt the materials according to the learner’s needs and support the book with my authentic materials. Even though I use a communicative approach, all my lessons are guided by a solid knowledge of grammar. If you want to speak Turkish well, please get in touch with me. It is fun, and we will smile during the lesson!

Talk and Understand Turkish easily and well with Başak who is an Experienced and Patient Teacher for Adults and Kids-Online/In-Person Lesson (Maltepe)
Başak
I am following a class with Başak to learn turkish. The lessons are held in english. This course covers pronunciation, grammar and free speaking which are also adapted to daily life situations as well as speaking about yourself. I have experienced a very well organized and structured teacher on a professional basis. The teacher gives clear instructions, pays attention to the pronunciation and corrects you when needed, which is crucial for the turkish pronunciation. The course fees contain the tuition as booked and course material as the class is accompanied by a book (workbook and exercise book) and audio files. The books are sent to you in advance, makes it very convenient to take a print out or as a digital version on your tablet/PC/phone. Between the lessons homework will be assigned and checked by her via mail and discussed in the next lesson. So far, I am very happy with the lessons and I am also confident that I will improve my turkish steadily in the future with her. Thanks

Private violin lessons, Music Theory, Technical and Musical Skills (Paris)
Ester
My private violin lesson with Ester was absolutely perfect. I had a privilege to hear Ester play her violin and she is so good- it is crazy to think I was able to learn from her. She is also such a good teacher. Full of knowlege and patience- which is, in my opinion, a rare combination. I had no prior musical education and this was my first real music lesson. Ester managed to teach me basic note reading, correct violin holding and even playing my first tunes. Her explainations are very clear and easy to understand. And her approach is very friendly. She is also a very nice person and easy to talk to. I wish we lived in the same city so I could keep studying playing violin with Ester- that's how good she is. Lidia

Dutch lessons at any level.
Irma
Irma is a great teacher. Everything is well organized in each session. We have fun during the class, so learning dutch with her is not boring. She pays extra attention to the pronunciation and corrects me when I'm wrong. This is very helpful to learn the pronunciation correctly from the beginning since changing it later needs much more effort. Irma is also very flexible with timing and content of the course. I am completely happy with my private classes.
