Hello! I’m Fatemeh, a passionate language teacher with over two years of experience teaching students aged 9 and above, both online and in person. I hold an M.A. in English Language and Literature and am currently pursuing an M.A. in English Teaching. Teaching is not just my profession—it’s my hobby! A Cambridge certified teacher is what I call myself because of CELTA certificate I got in 2018. I have taught English and Farsi (Persian) to many students around the globe. About the methodology I use in my lessons, I have to say that it's different person to person. Some need TTT (Test - Teach - Test) some other might need CLT (Communicative - Language - Teaching ) or TBL (Task-based Language). It depends on your level, agenda and learning preferences. It's my job to figure it out and use the correct way in the class and I'm really good at it, I promise ;). When you want to learn something, It's all about mistakes. Don't be afraid of making them when you talk. Just imagine a toddler making effort for the first words and sentences and answer this question: How many mistakes they make in order to learn to speak a language? So, whether you want to strengthen your vocabulary or work on your grammar, learn the basics or prepare for a specific occasion, I am more than happy to share my experience and help you grow.

The books that we will work on are provided by Saadi foundation and they have been approved by the professors in this field.

Persian is an ancient language which has a rich literature,. By learning the Persian language, you get a huge source of this literature. You will get to know the culture and traditions of the historical country of Iran. at least five famous poets are Persian. so if you decide to learn Persian don't waste time, I can help you to learn Persian as a peace of cake. Now the question is, how I will teach you? 1st we will work on alphabet then words and sentences , we will learn conversations . in each session I will ask you some questions, we will work on writing which is very important. and about who I am : my name is Shirin. My lessons are based on standard conversational (informal) Persian spoken by mainly the middle-class educated people in Iran. I teach in three beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels: The beginner level is mostly focused on basic grammar and vocabularies and you will learn to make simple sentences and handle basic conversations. In the intermediate and advanced levels you will gradually learn more vocabularies, will make more sophisticated sentences and will be more confident in communication in Farsi. In the advance level you will have lessons on particular subjects such as cooking, weather, houses, cities etc and thus you will learn related vocabularies and slang. All the lessons are designed and written by me and all are supported by plenty of examples from everyday life. In my class, not only yоu will leаrn Persiаn but yоu will also knоw аbоut аmаzing Irаniаn culture,music, pоetry. You will never get bored during the lessons as I cаn аlsо teаch yоu sоme eаsy sоngs in Persiаn, we will talk about delicious Iranian food ( I am going to give you some recipes in Farsi as a part of lessons) and will even listen to some Persian songs!! We are practicing four skills together, Listening, Writing , Reading and Speaking. Also, you have homework at the end of each class.
