Theoretical subjects and languages often seem complicated to grasp. The concepts and terminology the former contains sometimes make it difficult for students to get a proper hold on a basic part of the subjects. However, I will introduce all these theoretical concepts to you uniquely and in a storytelling mode. SES means Sciences économiques et sociales-or- economics and sociology. it is a hard field at first, but once you get the hang of it it becomes really enjoyable. It is also a course in which you can easily get 16 and 17, coming from a student in the French baccalaureate who got an 18.

Students will examine the works of key thinkers like Durkheim, Weber, Marx, Foucault, and others, understanding how their ideas contribute to our knowledge of society and criminal behavior. When teaching sociology we firstly we go through sociological approach which covers what sociology is. Then other main topics we cover are crime and deviance, education, families and research methods. Sociology is fascinating because it delves into the complexities of human behavior and social structures. It explores how individuals and groups interact, the influences of culture and society, and the factors that shape our identities and relationships. By examining everything from family dynamics to global issues, sociology helps us understand the patterns that govern our lives. It allows us to understand society better.

I specialise in teaching GCSE and A level sociology and psychology and also I am able to teach GCSE religious studies. As I am a newly graduated student hence I am up to date with today’s curriculum and what to teach students. I can help them achieve amazing grades i can make them the notes they need to revise as well as more simplified way of teaching them. This will help them understand better. Lastly, my goal is to help students and achieve amazing grades as well as make them feel welcome so they can get all the knowledge they need without hesitating. My method emphasises personalised guidance that is tailored to the needs of each student. I assist with teaching the appropriate content and exam strategies that students need to get the best grades possible. In Sociology, I do exam practice and go over topics. Sociology is the study of human social life and you can expect to cover topics such as work, families, gender roles, multiculturalism, media and culture and globalisation. During my lessons, I will elaborate on these topics and allow you to understand and feel confident within this subject. In Psychology, I will teach students key theories and behaviours of humans. During my lessons I will compare psychological theories to real life durations and I will explain this in a deeper level to help students. In English literature, through a more in-depth analysis of context, I help students become more proficient writers, which helps them feel more comfortable with the topic. I like to give tasks to my students after class to make sure they feel secure and fully comprehend what they are learning. My intention is for my pupils to feel enthusiastic and confident about studying these subjects both during and after my classes, since this will benefit them both academically and in real-world scenarios. during this class you may choose to study English maths or sociology alongside a tutor who received grade 8s and above in these subjects aswell as studying them for a level. fun is guaranteed as well as effective learning and understanding of the subjects

This course offers an interdisciplinary approach to exploring social sciences, philosophy and Arabic language learning. It aims to provide learners with a deep understanding of the fundamental concepts of social sciences, to develop critical thinking skills in philosophy. In social sciences, we will analyze social dynamics, institutions and social phenomena, such as mental health, education, family and inequality. Students will study classical and contemporary sociological theories while developing a critical understanding of the structures that govern society. Philosophy, for its part, will encourage an exploration of major ethical, existential and metaphysical questions, with an emphasis on reflection and logical reasoning. Students will be invited to question the concepts of justice, truth and freedom, and to connect these notions to contemporary issues. In parallel, learning the Arabic language will be aimed at non-native speakers wishing to develop their oral and written communication skills. The course will offer an immersion in the basics of grammar, vocabulary and cultural expressions, allowing students to express themselves in Arabic in various contexts. This course offers an enriching experience for those who wish to combine intellectual reflection and the acquisition of language skills in an intercultural setting.
