“Studying the past to understand the future” - The history of art is broad, both as quantity and as time, so much so that we have the idea that it is something beautiful, but that it remains in its time, and cannot go any further, but the Art history is so deep in us that (even though it is “old”) it continues to influence our modernity. This course intends to show how certain works and artistic periods continue to have their importance and influence: painting and cinema, photography and sculptures, etc... In this course, artistic periods will be studied (in painting, literature, cinema, music, etc.) and their importance that continues even today. “The past is more infinite than the future.”
