Trusted teacher: Hi, My name is Katarina Viktoria and I am a multi-cultured music student. I was born in Latvia to a Ukrainian/Russian mother and a Swedish father. At the age of 3 we moved to Switzerland where I grew up in a German and Swiss German environment and these two languages became native to me. During my life in Switzerland we moved to the US for a year where I learned English and went to primary school. Later in life I moved to the Netherlands to study Classical Voice at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I grew up in a big family with lots of kids (I have 9 siblings), I know how to communicate with kids of various ages and how to teach them in a playful matter. I love cpommunicating with people, which is also the base of my classes. How I build up my classes always depends on my student’s wishes, whether it’s the wish to improve their communication skills or to work on their grammar. I try to make my lessons as interesting as possible, using different exercises to playfully learn the language. I always aim for variations, we speak, we write, we read and we listen. I can also give homework and correct it, if that’s what the student wants. If the wish is only to communicate and to improve the pronounciation, that’s also fine by me. I love helping and supporting people in becoming their best version, so whatever makes you happy makes me happy :) I love seeing my students improve, it motivates me to go on and support them in their language skills even more!

Trusted teacher: I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I have been teaching English for over 3 years to students who wish to improve their English language skills or become bilingual. All my students are satisfied with my course and those who had entrance exams have passed successfully. There is nothing like having English lessons with a qualified English speaker ;-) I have done all my studies in English and in the United Kingdom, I consider English as being my first language among all the other ones I have learned. Being a "native" speaker for me is meaningless, the qualifications are the most important as well as the experience (you could have a "native" speaker who makes a lot of mistakes because this person is not qualified in teaching). The price of the lessons is moderate compared to the effectiveness of my courses. I use a variety of methods and can easily adapt to the needs of the student. I offer courses at all levels (beginner, advanced to university level) as well as English courses for IELTS/TOEFL, A-LEVELS or correction of written works. I have worked with children as well as teenagers and adults. My 3 years of experience as a teacher in England have helped me to develop the qualities necessary to motivate my students and teach them effectively. I can deliver the lessons online anywhere in the world. Do not hesitate to contact me to book a lesson, places are quickly taken. Veghar is the best teacher I could have ever wished for! She adapts her lessons completely to your wishes. She is punctual and she always keeps her promises. She can explain very well and also has a lot of material that you can practice with. But perhaps most importantly, Veghar is a very likeable woman!
