Passionate about music, I obtained my certificate of musical studies in 2019, which marked the end of my violin course at the conservatory. I subsequently played in the McGill Beethoven Orchestra and am now 1st violin at the Philarmonie Jeunesse de Montréal (PJM). I have 15 years of violin practice and 9 years of music theory behind me, and I would like to share with you this passion for music. I give violin lessons to beginners or intermediate students, or even to advanced students who would need a guide in their work. I can also teach music theory. I adapt to your requests! I am a Suzuki trained teacher through world renown Mimi Zweig, Joshua Bell and Hilary Hahn’s own teacher! I studied with Grigory Kalinovsky and Mauricio Fuks at the Jacobs School of Music as well as Violaine Melancon at McGill University. I have been playing the violin for 20 years and teaching since I was 16, and I have great passion for music education for all ages. I will customise your lessons to what you need, from classical to folk to fiddling!

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (USA). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Violin classes for beginners and intermediates, focusing on technical and interpretative aspects. Musical arrangement classes for different instrumental formats and sheet music transcription. I make recordings of violins and string ensembles. The teaching methodology is based on understanding the technical and musical learning process, progressive study with examples performed by the teacher, using academic and popular repertoire, scale and arpeggio systems, and exercises for developing muscle memory.

Depending on your level in our lessons, we might start by practicing basic things like scales. Then, we move on to different books that match how good you are at playing. I'll teach you special techniques, like the Tune Day Method, to help you get better. But most importantly, I want you to enjoy what you're playing, so I'll let you choose the songs you enjoy.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing. With over 8 years of experience as a Solfege, Oriental Solfege, Oud, and Oriental singing teacher, I am a Lebanese musician currently residing in Mönchengladbach, Germany. I honed my skills for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. Prior to my relocation, I taught at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also held private music lessons. In addition to these Western and Oriental scales, we will also introduce you to the quarter note, which is not traditionally found in Western music. It is a quarter note with a unique and distinct sound.
