I have been teaching English for over 25 years, 17 of those in Italy. I am a certified TEFL and TESOL teacher. I prefer using the Direct Method of teaching in order to immerse the student in the language as soon as possible. I believe lessons should be fun, professional and enjoyable for the student. If the student signs off with a smile, having learnt and understood something new and useful then I am happy too.
